…] People are down on Gears beause the series has barely evolved in 15 years, adding a robot that can do a couple things to help you in combat and pointless open world sections is not what the series needs The idea that it needs to die or they need to move on to a new IP isnt true although it would be nice as new IPs are always cool to have but they 100% absolutely need to innovate with 6 if they want to continue the series as a “pillar” Iv said it before and steam sales arent everything but basically all the big games MS have put on steam/pc have thrived, SoT, Forza, Halo, AoE but Gears has straight up failed on steam and arguably the best playing TPS series for the last decade, a game that looks and runs as well as Gears should be doing that badly when everything else continues to make bank
