Indus is the river in India/Pakistan so that seems kind of more Civ-focused AoE game.

I absolutely hate that though lol. I buy one system, not because I can only afford one. It’s that my time is already limited, no use having multiple consoles. When I choose to spend my money on xbox, I want them to think about what’s best for me as a customer, not what’s best for gamers. Look at all those money hats Sony is doing to cover their dry spell, they want their customers to feel like they have a steady stream of content first party or otherwise. Their customers feel first class. I actually respect it.

Xbox between first party, publishing, and game pass deals will have a substantially more diverse offering to their fans and for only $10 or $15 a month to boot. Or I can have the honor of paying $70 for “real art” with Sony. Not sure that point you made is the one you thought it was.

How the fuck are Xbox players not treated as first class when we have Game Pass giving us games every week that every other platforms’ players have to spend $20-70 per title? How are we not treated first class when we received both the cheapest (but not in hardware capabilities) and most powerful consoles this generation? How are we not treated first class when Xbox is literally spending billions of dollars on acquisitions over the past three year, and will continue to do so, in order to increase the value of your Game Pass sub?

We as fans get it included in game pass no matter what, I personally do not give a damn if anything is or isn’t exclusive.

That’s totally fair, and to some extent I agree; though Game Pass definitely changes the calculus of that on both sides of the equation. I understand people are bummed we have to wait for Deathloop but, as illustrated many a time, Xbox had almost no choice… they’re damned either way.

But people should chill out and remember how many games we’ve gotten the last two years, the quality of those titles, and how much more we’re confirmed to have over the next few years… especially compared to the output of the closest competitor. The fact that we haven’t even seen all of the projects is an even greater reminder of how much we, as Xbox fans, will be eating over the new few years.

Yes you do .

I understand people having critisism of Xbox or things they can do better, but I can’t take the notion seriously that Xbox is not treating us as first class when they are literally spending billions to basically give away their games as part of a low priced subscription service. What’s more, we can also play the games anywhere and on whatever device we want.

I have so much games to play that it is not a question of what to play, but where do I find the time and that’s thanks to Xbox.

You do know there is such a thing as Game Pass for PC? That audience needs content as well, and RTS is a long standing staple on that platform. It is not like Xbox is lacking in other genres as well. I don’t see why it is a problem.

Dude, Gears: Tactics is not an RTS. But yes, there is an audience for these games. Look at how well Total War does, that should say everything. There is a reason Xbox tries to get games like Humankind, Crusader Kings III, etc. on Game Pass day one.

I do agree that they should put all the Age of Empires games on console though. I refuse to believe that is unsolvable by one of the biggest corporations in the world.
