Sometimes I really wonder how some people end up with an Xbox.
I thought it was a breath of fresh air to have an anime-waifu free conference!
He has yet to see the light as I have.
I was once like himā¦ lost and confusedā¦ doom postingā¦
But then my brotherā¦
Fixed it for ya, hugs
We have a couple of videos going up tomorrow, one is a basic halo mp showcase breakdown I did and another is a great piece by Onebadmutha and edited by Sik about the future of xbox first party.
I understand wanting all of the genres to be well represented, but Xbox (with its PC roots) is western oriented in its soul. It brought western oriented genres like FPS and WRPG to the forefront of the console world. It is also why there are so many first person games.
Seems weird to get an Xbox and complain about the lack of Japanese games.
No kidding.
Indeed.
Also I have a hot take: Most, not all, ājapaneseā games and anime are sheit.
(please donāt hurt me)
To be fair Xbox has had Japanese support since its inception. Hell Sega is the sole reason I even jumped on the Xbox bandwagon to begin with. I have just as many Japanese games on Xbox as I do western. Maybe slightly more.
Please guys I donāt think thatās how this works. I an pretty sure all of us here would agree that Xbox needs diversity and although that was presented yesterday it still lacked Japanese games and Third person games. Now donāt eat me for saying this but whole show had a Single third person game (Plague Tale) and a single Japanese game.
I am not suggesting here that every game from XGS should be a 3rd person Uncharted or every third party deal should be for Final Fantasy but there should have been at least more than one.
Maybe Iāll be flagged or banned for saying this but hear me out, just look at last yearās Sony show, we know that Sonyās First party specializes in 3rd person games so What did Sony do? They brought in Deathloop and Ghostwire. Microsoft should have at least tried to do the same. Even if only 3 games out of those 30 were 3rd person I would have been satisfied but that wasnāt the case.
Ani-memes are truly the best!
I mean we all know most of what Ninja Theory makes are the AAA , "cinematic "(ugh) third person games with lots of walking. Compulsion is also said to be working on this kind of game. Not to mention whatever The Coalition is doing (supposedly not Gears) will likely be TPS, or adventure. Not to mention Starfield can be played in third person.
Sorry but this just isnāt true. At all. Did you not see Psychonauts 2, Forza Horizon 5, Shredders, Flight Simulator, Party Animals? Those are third person, in addition to A Plague Tale. The Ascent, Age of Empires IV, Twelve Minutes, Hades, Diablo 2, Among Us were isometric and Eiyuden Chronicle, Replaced are 2D. Contraband may also be third person since most Avalanche games are, and of course Starfield has third person too.
Either way I donāt get the huge deal with perspectives. Personally I donāt care.
Xbox is completely OK with their first-party right now, the only āproblemā I can see is the agressive approach Sony is having with timed exclusivity with third-party and this is not Xboxās fault.
After this E3 Iām sure the industry will support Xbox more and raise those timed-exclusivity prices.
Itās an absolute great time to be an Xbox gamer, might even say the best than it ever was. Anyone saying otherwise is afraid of the change this will bring to the industry.
Psychonauts 2 doesnāt count because itās happy. It needs to be third person plus morose.
Every next gen AAA Japanese third party game that we know about is coming to Xbox excluding the ones Sony paid exclusivity for. Some of you have weird expectations.
Well, you couldnāt see your character in Atariās Battlezone or Night Driver. First person perspective goes back to the 1970ās.
