That’s how Bethesda Game Studios Executive Producer Todd Howard described the upcoming game “Starfield” in an exclusive video interview with The Washington Post.

“For me, ‘Starfield’ is the Han Solo simulator. Get in a ship, explore the galaxy, do fun stuff,” said Cheng, who’s been with the company for 21 years.

Despite the challenges Bethesda has faced — primarily the pandemic, which has delayed numerous highly-anticipated games over the past 15 months — Howard firmly believes “Starfield” will meet its just-announced release date of November 11, 2022.

“We’re confident in the date," Howard said. "Otherwise, we wouldn’t be announcing it.”

It did absolutely nothing for me, as a huge fan of Prey and Dishonored, I find what I saw ininspired visually speaking and the trailer didn’t said anything about what I’ll be able to do in the game. It was a poor showing because I just don’t know if the game is a coop Left for Dead like or an immersive sim with strong narrative or even a immersive shooter in open world with coop aspect… it wasn’t a good focus trailer on what the game trully is, I needed to read the description to know what the final game will be about and that’s not a good thing at all for me.

Can’t argue this but I like the idea of going against vampires and it being more action shooting oriented as opposed to melee. I’m interested since I know I can play solo but still want to see gameplay before deciding if im all in.

Stylistically it will be very different, but I’m calling it already that, just like Prey, Redfall will be a great game that most people ignore, but those who choose to play it will love it.

Seeing some people complaining MS is just focusing on MP and GAAS which is not true at all they have Starfield Avowed The Outer Worlds 2 and Hellblade 2 this isnt even including teams we know are making single player only games

I think it being first party and on Game Pass changes a lot of that. Think itll be a huge benefit to Arkane.
