But… but… what will we whine and cry about on the forums everyday? We’re entitled to news the moment we want it or we deserve to go on uninformed rants about the sky falling.
The internet has broken people. Critical thinking is a lost art in society but patience is even worse.
Tbh its kind of a bummer (even with acknowledging the state of game development right now) that all we can do is just sit back and wait again and again and again for these games.
In retrospect it didn’t matter for the PS4 having nothing but deckchairs the first 2 years since they eventually delivered and that’s what I hope Xbox does and what I think its what will eventually happen.
Covid is the name of the game, hopefully at the end of this year is should be better in this regard.
Think with me here, Xbox finally has games coming, I know we have to wait for them, but there was a time where even the announcement of new games was uncertain.
Xbox had better hardware, but still had “halogearsforza” and we didn’t even know if it was going to end, now it’s way more than that and those studios are working to give us the very best.
Just look at Double Fine, one of the smallest studios, already showing such an incredible game, imagine what the others aren’t cooking for us?
After the CP2077 disaster we should just really wait.
And always remember this: Xbox will hurt a lot more if it releases a broken game than releasing a late great game.
I wish I could say this for the last time but it probably won’t be. There are more games on Game Pass than any person has time to play right now. The XGS games are coming but we’re in a global crisis that’s killed millions of people. Yes, some games have been delayed, but you’ll still get your damned games.
What is the point of the incessant negative posts? Who are you trying to convince? I’m sorry Javy… I know that the world is a stressful place right now but this an outlet away from that for a lot of us. You can be critical without being overtly negative.
I’d love to encourage this forum to have a productive conversation about predictions, dream scenarios and realistic expectations. Please.
The further out Starfield is, the more likely the game is exclusive. If the game was releasing this year, it would be highly likely there would be PS4 and Xbox One versions since they would have been mostly done before the acquisition.
It won’t happen, but the there really does need to be a dedicated first party piss and moan thread so that this one can just be about actually discussing games.
Starfield and Elden Ring must be the most anticipated games! Unreal how much people talk about 2 games no one has ever really seen or know what exactly they will be. Blind hype is hard rn.
Imagine these games turn out to be mediocre, how pointless all the discussions will look like then.
God bless the holy trifecta, without them we wouldn’t get big games til end 2022 I fear. MS invested seriously in gaming in late 8th gen, then covid, so we are bound to wait unfortunately.
Back to cant say anything out of line about the current dry spell of releases from XGS even while acknowleding the pandemic that has affected everyone.
