Xbox Game Studios |OT5| DOOM posting not allowed. Except for posting about DOOM

Because for some people “It’s not a real game”. I’m incredibly excited for it and I hope they can match the high-end PC experience.

I agree that the future is very bright for xbox and I’m happy to wait for the games. My only concern is the lack of concrete information on timelines. Of course covid put a massive spanner in all that but it would be nice to have some idea even if it’s only vague. Personally what I would like to see in the future when the pipeline is producing regular games is a CGI announcement trailer two years before release, and then gameplay 9-12 months before release

Gawd - you took the conversation in a different direction.

Have you tried AoE or AoM?

Play the complete campaign once, and then play it against a friend – and then honestly tell me it should be on console or not.

I hope so too!

Some people conveniently forget that Alex Battaglia from Digital Foundry said this was the most next-gen looking game when he did the analysis late last year :man_shrugging:t2:

Very valid point about E3. If they show gameplay at E3 and not just another teaser, a release about a year from now is still somewhat within the space in how Bethesda operates. It’s always possible that they move it to Holiday 2022 like Hindle’s prediction, but on the other hand…BGS games don’t get delayed. Never happened before.

so what about first half of 2022 ? same mistake of 2021 ?

Just keep waiting

Halo and FH5 are this year, and we will probably get 3 or so first party games next year. Not really too much waiting.

I havent play one cause they havent been on a console I owned sorry I am not rich and can buy a high end PC and I am not the only one who find it BS

Hope Infinite and FH5 are successes and carry us hard into 2022.

Oh…i see.

That is far from how Bethesda usually does their thing, reveal and release very close to each other. Guess covid really has impacted that too.

Late 2022, fml.

yeah they need to show us roadmap, like another dry first half ?

Before any doom posting begins

Let’s just wait to see what BGS says at E3 before assuming any dates. It could release in “late” 2022, but the first half of that year also makes sense. There’s no confirmation either way.

Good thing we will end this in 2 weeks (it wont).

That would mean the pipeline of first party games wouldn’t really kick in till two years after the console released and the only major game expected in the first two years was halo infinite. That won’t go down well to many
