i dont care about the HFW gameplay. its more of the same. but the graphics… are very good. i think this “concern” with the Xbox is because they havent shown/released anything that looks like “next gen” and havent said anything about it for months… at E3 they will finally talk about YOUR games.
Visuals like these for a Halo game, dude I would fucking faint. Or honestly, for any of the upcoming XGS. I love how this looks. Wonder where it’s from?
How is racing a niche genre? Over 20 million people played Forza Horizon 4 and that’s climbing fast. If that’s the case then we should also be saying that God Of War and Horizon Forbidden West are niche genres, right?
But man what you posted in the general thread really got me wondering what that is. Could it be Halo? Not sure what else tbh.
I’m speaking for myself here of course but mind blowing visuals add so freaking me to the overall experience. That’s why I will never say graphics don’t matter as much as gameplay, I find them equally important. Some games don’t necessarily need state of the art visuals but for Halo? I’d kill for it, well, almost.
Imagine walking around in that location, taking it all in, enjoying the sights. Those kind of visuals are not only for a RPG or action adventure like Tomb Raider, Uncharted, TLOU, Horizon or Gears for me, I’d love that for a Halo too.
Racing games are a niche genre compared to 3rd person cinematic action games in terms of public perception and mass appeal. I also think most people played FH4 due to it being one of the ONLY high quality graphic titles AND it being for “free” on Gamepass. It’s a good game as well so that just adds to it.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what type of visuals and art styles we see from Xbox at E3
It’s a huge genre, racing games have been and will continue to be one of the most central genres in gaming. It’s not niche by any standard. They’re more central than open world games or JRPGs or fighting games.
I love how you completely ignore the take that prompted what i posted like him implying there will be nothing at Xbox E3 that will compare graphically but whatever. You do you. None of these influencers, Youtubers, Journalists, are infallible. They can voice their opinions and i can voice mine. They’re also grown men, no need to play white Knight for them.
