Xbox Game Studios |OT4| This is for Studio talk. Studios. It's the Studios OT. Studio talk here (Part 1)

Chappelle Show Lol GIF

You literally told people to shut the fuck up in your post… and I’m the one who should be calm.

The worst year for Xbox was like 2017 when all we had was Cuphead, Voodoo Vince Remastered, Forza Motorsport 7 and Halo Wars 2…oh also that god awful Pubg early access launch for Xbox.

This was a lot worse than the Series X launch

I ended up buying a One X in 2018 for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Okay. Everyone needs to calm down a bit.

No one should be telling someone to “shut up” because they stated an opinion. This is the Xbox Game Studios OT, not the compare release windows to Playstation OT.

E3 is in a few weeks and there seems to be a lot of hand wringing based on baseless rumors and speculation. Please get back on topic.

I apologise for my attitude, sorry.

I didn’t suggest that… there’s a ton of IP’s in development obviously.

The obvious issue is we really don’t how far of them are away… 12 months, 2 years etc.

The picture isn’t clear.

In the long run I am as confident as you, for sure. The here and now kinda sucks though, and has done so for quite some time. People are tired of the waiting, that’s all.

E3 is in 4 weeks.

I don’t see any level headed person having a negative outlook on Xbox 1st party situation. Some may be playing wait and see, others are hyped as hell, but outside of trolls, I don’t see any real negativity. So maybe pay less attention to the fanboys and just enjoy the generation as it goes along. They will have a more consistent schedule, but that will take time. Many of the studios they acquired were already involved in titles already in development. It’s going to take a while before we see full on exclusives designed for new gen consoles. Again, pushing out a game before it’s ready so that Xbox gamers can make petty comparative claims of how they are getting exclusives too does the platform and the owners no good.

What does any of that have to do with the topic of the thread?

I have an idea, let’s not crap on anything and keep to the topic of this thread.

Thanks.

I mean that’s what started the discussion in the first place… the suggestion that Starfield won’t have a massive presence at E3, and obviously what else is really going to be there.

we still don’t even have a time and date for the Microsoft e3 conference. I need to schedule that time off from work in advance.

Isn’t it always in the weekend?

Xbox won’t be at E3, the presentation got delayed to 2022 to have a better gameplay showcase, this is for you and they want the best.

Also, Crackdown 4 is now part of the Halo infinite platform!

Privilege is a fascinating thing. I sometimes wonder if nearly unlimited access to information (including garbage info) on the internet has made a lot of people just utterly incapable of patience. We literally have an annual event dedicated to giving gamers a glimpse at a company’s roadmap coming up in a month and people are furious that they don’t have all of the information right this second.

Expectations in the year 2021 are a truly wild thing.

There is no evidence it won’t have a massive presence
