I don’t see any level headed person having a negative outlook on Xbox 1st party situation. Some may be playing wait and see, others are hyped as hell, but outside of trolls, I don’t see any real negativity. So maybe pay less attention to the fanboys and just enjoy the generation as it goes along. They will have a more consistent schedule, but that will take time. Many of the studios they acquired were already involved in titles already in development. It’s going to take a while before we see full on exclusives designed for new gen consoles. Again, pushing out a game before it’s ready so that Xbox gamers can make petty comparative claims of how they are getting exclusives too does the platform and the owners no good.

I’m all for pushing the games only when they are ready, but honestly is baffling of much more oiled PS organisation was even in a pandemic world, it only shows for how many years MS underfunded Xbox, so many to condition release schedule years and years after. This is my real complain.

Well, right now he leaked a lot of stuff that only he had, so I take that his word has some weight behind it.

He could be wrong and I’d be happy about it, but he’s the most reliable source on Starfield right now.

Well, I would tend to give some legitimacy to the sources of a guy who’s literally been leaking images of the game from his discord.

It would tie in with the release being in early 2022 as well… as Howard wants to do a deep dive close to release.

Remember how active Phil Spencer used to be on Twitter with his fans? I feel like he used to constantly hang out on twitter and respond to fans. I think a lot of this ended around 2017, I remember when Scalebound was cancelled he was answering so many fan questions it was almost like an AMA.

two years ago back in 2019 I would’ve said Microsoft’s plan was to use Mixer as one of their main gateways to Xbox Game Streaming, along with using Ninja as a way to push Halo Infinite for the Xbox Series X launch…CLEARLY I was wrong on that.

I would’ve said that Microsoft was fine with just Xbox Game Studios…but its quite clear to me now that the 15 studios they used to have weren’t enough looking back. Without Bethesda I think the wait would’ve been unbearable for new first party games.
