a backlash in the sense a lot of people will lose confidence in the xbox brand in making any sort of moves to actually bolster their ecosystem rather than supplying everything to the competition who keeps trying to snatch away games from them all the time. I would not be affected at all, everything day 1 on PC for me anyway, but it would be something that would erode trust in the brand, Iād be lying if I said that isnāt gonna happen if they go multiplat on these.

Personally, I think Microsoft continuing to ship Bethesda titles to other consoles would be a massive own goalā¦ and counterproductive to what theyāre attempting to do with Game Pass.
You want to bolster your subscription service to higher levels, you do it with exclusive content.

As I said before, as a Gamepass subscriber, I donāt care about where MS decides to launch Zenimax games.
That being said though , a couple of friends who were very intended to buy a XSS or XSX for Zenimax games just sent me some messages about the deal and how it may not be exclusive. Theyāre going to wait and see what happens before buying the consoleā¦

The major problem with all this, is market share and games skipping Xbox. If people stay on PS, games wonāt come to gamepass for a long while still.
