Does anybody know if Phil is okay? @XboxP3 has been stuck on Spectrum TV for a while now. Did he leave his app running?

The coalition should do a republic commando reboot.

I would like a Clone Wars RPG but it seems that time has passed.

This article from Gamespot has an interesting idea also:

An RPG Starring Asajj Ventress By Ninja Theory Or Obsidian Entertainment

My favorite Star Wars character is Ahsoka Tanoā€“her evolution into a talented Jedi before becoming a traveling rōnin-like figure is stellar. But a very close second for me is Asajj Ventress, who almost feels like the dark foil to Ahsoka. Her story is one of tragedy, one that leads to her becoming the personal assassin and dark apprentice of Darth Tyranous/Count Dooku. And much like Ahsoka, Asajj is cast out by her allies and pursues a more neutral path between the dark and the light, becoming a bounty hunter. If Ahsoka is the story of finding purpose after leaving the Jedi, then Asajj is the story of finding purpose after leaving the Sith.

Getting a video game about Asajj Ventress covering her story following her failed attempt to assassinate Dooku and her decision to become a bounty hunter sounds awesome. Asajj is a fascinating character. Sheā€™s a good person, but the trauma of her abusive upbringing has compelled her to keep even her closest allies at armā€™s length. Though Asaji knows sheā€™s stunningly beautiful, she only flirts with others as a means of disarming them, not because she believes someone would genuinely want to be with her.

Though Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order touches on it with Cal Kestis, Star Wars video games do very little to explore the trauma of folks growing up and living through war. Itā€™s a huge part of the novels and TV shows that just havenā€™t crossed into the games yet, and Asajjā€™s story presents an ideal way to finally dig into that. Plus, sheā€™s a badass bounty hunter with Force powers and such a commanding presence that she can charm or threaten her way through most problems without needing to draw her weaponā€“the ideal protagonist for a narrative-focused action RPG. Iā€™d love to see Ninja Theory or Obsidian Entertainment take a stab at a game like that, especially if the studio works with writer Katie Lucas and author Christie Golden to capture the right tone for the gameā€™s storyā€“both made Asajj Ventress into such an incredible character throughout The Clone Wars, Kindred Spirits, and Dark Disciple. ā€“ Jordan RamĆ©e, Associate Editor

Ninja Theoryā€™s pedigree lends perfectly to a Star Wars game both directly and indirectly.

Microsoft would be crazy not to be pitching to Lucas with Ninja Theory in tow.

Meh I take everything over Star Wars :slightly_smiling_face:

Let Ninja Theory work on what they want. I donā€™t want every studio to turn into a shooter studio.

Man, the Lego Speed Champions expansion for Forza is a ton of fun!

Xbox finally has enough studios to effectively build out all their existing, acquired, and new IPā€¦ let the studios expand their own worlds and achieve their vision!

Yes it is!

Iā€™ve been loving Playground Gamesā€™ take on DLCs for their recent Horizon games! One new location with an unique setpiece (Blizzard Mountain and Fortune Island) and one crazy collaboration (Hot Wheels and Lego).

I canā€™t imagine what they will do for Horizon 5!

And holy shit, I never realized that Ninja Theory was responsible for Heavenly Sword, Enslaved and DmC! For some reason I always thought their first work was Hellblade! I think I mixed them up with Team Ninja or something like that

I see a lot of podcasts speculate that Indiana Jones is gonna be a lot like Uncharted. And that would be fine, but I feel that Call of the Sea might be a more fitting game for them to ape. Indiana has very rarely gotten into gunfights, and even fistfights only a little more. I think the game should be mostly puzzle-solving and exploration, with just a bit of combat.

I would love it to be mostly puzzle-solving and exploration with large action set pieces that exude the fun that the movies deliver. I think combat should be kept to a minimum. My biggest complaint about Uncharted is that the main character has to kill hundreds of people and itā€™s just off putting (that and the combat itself is awful).

After the nice news about Itagaki returns, I would like him to be the first dev joining Xbox as a studio head in Japan <3

Itagaki is the one whose responsible for all the glory Tecmo has these days. So I see him is must have talent for Xbox to build strong presence in Jp/ WW.

Finished Devilā€™s Third in early 2016,

My score 8/10

Great!

I would like to see something like Devilā€™s Third tried again, as in Melee x Third person Shooting. Really loved the way the original trailer looked with all the wall running and such. If he could make something closer to that. Vanquish X Ninja Gaiden.
