He still said apparently they were big games.
XGS Publishing maybe ?
Hmm maybe
Has to be at least one from XGP, in terms of two games that would be ready to go in 2021 nothing sticks out from XGS studios beyond what is already announced

forza horizon 3 came out 2 years after forza horizon 2. Despite forza horizon 2 having a big expansion. Was more successful critically and financially than the previous game.

forza horizon 4 came out 2 years after forza horizon 3 despite horizon 3 having multiple big expansions. Was more successful than the previous game.
Now your expecting forza horizon 5 to take 5 years? Why do they need 2.5 times the development time when they already released the best and most successful racing game of the previous generation two separate times and did it in 2 years while making tons of dlc for the previous game.
15-20 fps, at 720p with game breaking bugs galore at xbox one and ps4 and people are going a bit overboard? Intentionally hiding last gen versions and not allowing reviewers who got a code earlier to post their own gameplay videos, but they had to use cdpr provided materials, and people are going a bit overboard?
They got what they deserved and they know it, hence their reaction. They acknowledged it, but someone on a forum wants to convince us otherwise.
Maybe there are other games in a worse state, but I doubt they were the most anticipated games of the year, or even a generation, and I doubt they sold tens of millions of copies like cyberpunk did.
Every game has bugs, especially open world ones, but few of them have such widespread issues and such glaring ommision, plus false marketing and intentional lying to your customers.
Whichever game launched in such a state was scrutinized, like AC Unity, Fallout 76 and so on.
Everything you have written could be said about Forza Motorsport but itās still going to take 4 years. Considering both series share the same engine, I expect forza Motorsport this year and forza horizon next year. It would be very strange if a still unannounced game came out before a game which was announced half a year ago at this point in time.
lol. Todayās gamers are the biggest drama queens.
Sorry bud. Iām sticking with March 2022 for Starfield. I truly donāt see it releasing this year once Halo Infinite was basically confirmed for November.
I think most of the key staff who made the first four Forza games have migrated to the Fable studio. Looking at the Forza Gorizon team right now, there are multiple hiring positions which wouldnāt be the case if the game was coming out this year.
I also think MS have given thier pillar franchises 5 years each to make the next instalment. Halo/Gears/Forza/ and Forza Horizon
Will never ever understand or figure out why anyone would name themselves ācrapgamerā? Does that mean heās a shitty gamer and canāt complete games? Does it mean that he plays the crappiest games out there? I donāt know. Iām stumped. lmao.
Yeah, true. My friend follows and watches him but did say he praised Hivebusters. I personally believe he probably just got tired of the platform and not getting the games he wanted. I do follow MBG on twitter as I do have a bunch of Xbox/PlayStation guys that I follow and heās bad at times but the others are worse. You can see who I follow on twitter. Hehe. I have my fair share of Xbox and PlayStation guys that I follow.
Yea I follow all the RDX crew
Some hidden self awareness maybe
Consider this. They launch to a billion devices this year with gamepass and xcloud. They also have been completely sold out of stock since launch. So why announce more stuff now, when they canāt push more consoles and they have their biggest launch this year?
I believed this too until we got credible sources talking about Hot Wheels for Horizon 4. It doesnāt make sense to do both.
The majority of this ābillion devicesā is concentrated in the Asian Market, and they still havenāt even mentioned a release date for Xcloud for many of these regions. Hope they do that soon.
I think the hot wheels thing is like Uncharted LL or Spider-Man Miles Morales. Not a full blown sequel but bigger then the usual DLC
I agree. I think FM8 was originally going to be launched in Fall 2021 because FM7ās 4-year licensing deal would run out by then, but I wouldnāt be surprised if it was delayed to 2022 because of the pandemic.
I remember reading a tweet from a Turn 10 staff member who thanked the licensing staff when FM7 came to Game Pass, so maybe they continued the licensing until September 2022 and FM8 will launch then.
If it does launch in 2021, then I would expect it to be pretty light on content at launch.
Also with FH4 still incredibly popular, maybe Playground and Microsoft feel they can afford to take extra time on FH5 to not only keep pushing the series forward to stop it getting stale, but to perhaps also incorporate some of the new tech features from the engine upgrades Turn 10 and them will have added.
Weāre used to Microsoft bringing out sequels at least every couple years but it seems now Microsoft are happy to give games the time needed (I know a lot folks in the media were sure Microsoft would have pushed out a Forza game for the Series X/S launch because it had been X amount of years since FM7.)
If the Hot Wheels DLC is true, then i can see that coming this year, Turn 10ās Forza next year and then FH5 the year after. More dev time+prolonged absence is always good for hype and anticipation. Of course i could be completely wrong and Microsoft bring out the Hot Wheels DLC this year and FH5 in the fall
