hahaha
the last dlc nicly ends We Happy Few
Two unannounced games - Wolfenstein III and Forza Horizon 5.
My lineup prediction is looking better and better with each passing day.
- January through June - AA/Indies
- July - Wolfenstein III
- August - Flight Simulator
- September - Forza Horizon 5
- November 12th - Halo Infinite
Thats a good fall schedule 3 potential Bangers right there then all full circle theres a reason people are getting really excited about Xbox again
Agreed.
I think halo infinite will surprise people theres a reason they delayed it a full year Microsoft and 343i know they must get it right
Definitely. Iām personally expecting at least a 9.0/10.
Yea I have more confidence in the campaign this time around since they have the guy from rocksteady on the narrative team for infinite he did arkham asylum and city
Absolutely. I really am saddened that they published Mark of the Ninja, Castle Crashers, Shadow Complex, etc.
And these days? Just Ori. They need to do many more of those kinds of things.
I wish they still had a Twisted Pixel-like studio. Iād love for them to pick up Klei, Supergiant, Thunderful, or someone like that. Especially when we saw Hades leave the AAA games of last year way in the dust.
If Horizon 4 is getting a Hot Wheels DLC, then itāll be Wolfenstein, not Horizon 5.
If I like the first dlc this much already, Iām in for a treat with the last one.
I see no Starfield here.
Itās definitely possible we wonāt get it this year.
Yeah the ditching of the open world, survival elements does wonders for the game and allows it to be focused.
I have mentioned it previously but We Happy Few was a victim of the studio needing to find a way to quickly earn money, so they initially went for the open world, survival genre because that was hot then, but after the injection of funding by Gearbox they then crafted onto it more of a traditional single player mode and it just didnāt gel.
It is why I am too looking forward to their next game because now they donāt have to worry about bringing in money.
October
Wait what the hell?
This really confuses me?
Iām keeping expectations low, I donāt understand why they wouldnāt announce this at the end of 2020 or in the Showcase when they were trying to sell people on the console. Some people bought PS5ās for launch because not much had been announced for 2021.
Thereās no way itās anything big, I really refuse to believe it. With Halo coming at the end of the year, I can assume thereās 1 also planned for Q4 but that leaves another for Q3 or Q2.
I imagine deals for some smaller games, and if itās anything big, Iāll be happily surprised. On top of that, I reckon they are timed exclusives like The Medium.
I believe they were first party.
Not sure why they didnāt announce earlier. Maybe not ready, maybe because they were saving for XO before that ended up MIA.
Just to temper everyoneās expectations with these two unannounced games Jez also said they he didnāt think that they would āmove the needleā for people who were listening to the xbox two podcast.
Personally, I think one might be project mara, from ninja theory, I know we got that announced but we have no idea when its coming out, so it could be this year. Its also supposed to be a smaller experimental game, so that could be something that they have finished.
I mean, Forza Horizon 4 is a phenomenon. Must have more or around 20 million users. Interrupt this game wouldnt be very smart.
and already has Forza Motorsport announced. think this comes first.
I mean I wouldnt take Jezās move needle comment to heart. Jez does great job covering xbox but I find his videogame takes awful.
Halo wasnāt suppose to launch 2021, there wouldāve been games planned for 2021. August > November is free for releases. 3 month gap before Halo so they could easily release 1 or 2 games in there.
So in 2021
Halo Infinite
Unannounced game 1
Unannounced game 2
A Bethesda game (maybe?)
