Could’ve used console only back in 2020 when cheaters were in every other game. Cheating seems to be rampant at the moment as well so I’ll gladly take it.

I was watching the DF video on Doom TDA and wow Id Soft is doing some amazing work with this engine, currently playing through Indiana and it looks beautiful and Doom may be about to take it even further, it’s probably one of the best engines this generation, up there or better than the RE Engine, can’t forget the work Playground is doing with Forzatech as well, I wonder if it would be possible for other Xbox studios to adapt this Id Soft engine, it seems to be very versatile.
It’s something that’s been brought up before, the problem seems to be the same as using Slipspace. Not enough people know the engine so it will slow down production, adding more time to a games development.

To celebrate the launch of South of Midnight, Xbox has brought this monstrous gator to life in the gator-infested waters of Marrero, Louisiana, a location chosen for its haunting resemblance to the game’s Southern-inspired setting.
Our recreation of Tom is truly startling – at 40 feet long, his jaws alone stand open at almost twice the height of a person, and inside his belly lies a 20-foot cabin, inspired by the very one that Hazel, the protagonist of South of Midnight lives in.
Inside that cabin, players will find an immersive gaming space featuring four 42-inch screens connected to Xbox Series X consoles, ensuring a unique experience as they navigate the perilous world of South of Midnight.
Fans can register here for a chance to visit Tom in person on April 5, 2025. Fans will be treated to a tour by Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours located in Marrero, LA. Hurry, spots are limited and he is not in a good mood. (Spots will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible attendees over the age of 18. Been playing Sea of Thieves all day with a friend, solely the Pirates content and it’s a lot of fun. It seems there is quite enough to do in the game overall now and a far cry from the barebones launch. Had the game launched with this much content it would have been way better received.
Combat hit reactions feel significantly better too now, enemies at least just react to the attacks.
I’m hoping a bit that this is the reason Everwild is taking so extremely long.
