Yes, the expansion, no to the immersive sim features for me.

Definitely want to see Avowed lien more into immersive sim in a potential sequel. The combat is pretty awesome and would be taken to the next level with more environmental interactivity and ways to solve problems.
It’s such a combat focused game that to me it seems like the obvious route.

For now just hoping we get an expansion, I need more of this game, I enjoyed every moment of it, so I’m now a new big fan of this world and want to see more of it, I think it makes a lot of sense for a future sequel to lean more into immersive but that’s a topic for another time and we probably won’t get this sequel for another 4-5 years, I should try to get into Pillars of eternity again.
I think it makes a lot of sense for the future of this IP, I hope it did really well, because it is awesome and just a great RPG, I would love an expansion in a winter like setting, we already had a tropical area, desert and volcano so, maybe an area with snow next, I think the current map hints at that if TOW1 is any indication, it had areas that weren’t accessible until the DLC so maybe it’s the same here.

Had to take a picture of the opening screen for the first image, but man is it looking good. Specially the lighting for the Coldharbour background, the hdr really makes it pop.
Edit: not so much in game, currently in Eastmarch and there is some really bad looking lighting on my characters face that doesn’t match the setting.
Edit: Or honestly on that picture now that I look better. I’m going to try wearing a helmet because that’s super distracting.
Edit: Skins seem to bypass the issue. Not all of them.

The 2025 Xbox summer show is likely 2 months and 2 weeks away, I wonder if we will see Everwild there, they’ve been very quiet about that game for a long time now.
Soon we’ll be playing some of their games on Xbox consoles through Steam, probably, the future of this industry could be really interesting.

My personal one that I want to hear the most about is Fable, I want to see an uncut 10 minute gameplay video, some roaming in the open world and perhaps a quest, I’m sure we’ll get that soon enough though, aside from that it’s the possibility of a Halo CE remake, I really hope it’s real and that it is coming sooner than expected, if real, 2026 at the latest pls
