I guess SoT is starting the pirates in video games year.
So excited by this game
As it is often the case today (think about fable and many others) there is a lot of social media bad buzz about the potential politics takes in the game. I don’t want to give energy into that, I just hope that the game will be good and entertaining, and I know obsidian is able to do such games.
By the way, let’s say it once again, but this animated artwork is gorgeous
I am excited to finally get my hands on Avowed, hopefully we get a fair amount of time for the review (and we’re allowed to say we have it, otherwise people ping me constantly with worry )
You got one month of time. Make us proud.
Don’t have it yet, sadly.
Crying out for a fantasy adventure / rpg to play. I have beaten Witcher 3, Elden Ring and Dragon Age… Baldurs Gate 3 I tried but couldnt get on with it. Oblivion / Skyrim I have played enough times
I know we have Avowed coming but I really wanna scratch the itch and cant think of anything. Perhaps I am being an idiot
Try the Metaphor Demo and see if the game us to your liking.
Elder Scrolls Online if you don’t mind seeing others running around.
Since you said Elden Ring, Dark Souls trilogy if you haven’t already. Lies of P as well(but I guess this is less fantasy more Victorian).
Should have said, I have metaphor!
I decided to wait on the hope that we get something FF related at the Direct, or just wait for Avowed. I forgot I had purchased Prince of Persia in sale, so I have started that

Hey FF 15 is def worth a shot, it’s a lil weird in. It’s mix of future and fantasy, but it’s a great game
Can you do a last day since the launch of the game?
No, I only have 2 instances of this info. But usually studios lose like 5-10% after the launch of the game.
Excluding Mojang, Playground now becomes the biggest XGS studio overtaking Halo studios.
The ZeniMax studios grew the most on average, with BGS in particular growing a lot after being stuck at ~300 for some time. Always said they needed to be bigger for the scope and size of the games they make, player expectations are always sky high in all areas. Feels like Xbox is investing a lot in them, after being stagnant under ZeniMax.
Surprised at the Mojang growth, I don’t know why it surprises me as it is likely to pump out support for one of the largest games around, but it does.
Mojang looks big until you consider King, who likely have twice the number of people working on Call of Duty.
Ooh, don’t see this mentioned very often. Very nice game!
King’s mobile? They wouldn’t have anyone working on Call of Duty, only Candy Crush.
