Yeah, I really wish those plans had never been leaked by Sponger back then. I got myself waaaaaay too hyped up because of that. Which at the end of the day is my own damn fault. At some point it may have been true that Obsidian really was aiming for Skyrim size or larger, but it didn’t pan out. We never were supposed to know.
Yeah, that’s quite likely.
That’s why leaks and rumors are dangerous because plans during development will always change.When stuff leak you have your expectations set and when plans change it can cause people to be less receptive about the game’s final product.

And what sounds like a town was mentioned in the little peak of the quest they showed during this year’s DD.
This should be the main city called Dawnshore. And I think the Living Lands only has one big city with smaller settlements.

That’s insane, and I am happy for Bethesda because they were taking a beating last year. WE had people having revisionist history about Fallout games and saying they were bad games.
Hopefully it won’t be long now for MS to finally start adding a lot of older CoD games. I’d really like to go check out all these zombie maps I’ve been missing out on. When ABK deal succeeded I did not think it would take this long.
It’s what’s keeping me from buying them when they go on sale. I also really want Crash Team Raving, THPS1+2 and Crash 4 but I feel like I’d be throwing money away knowing they’ll be in Gamepass soon enough!
It’s a combo of wanting to nail the marketing, getting BC stuff ready, and the massive headache of making stuff work with the Xbox PC app.
Oh, and navigating whatever potential barriers Sony had in place, which we don’t know the full extent of.
Fallout 76 had 70k on steam as well. First time in a long while I saw a lot of genuinely new players and not just mules.

Devs getting to expand the way they want, and going multiplat for some games makes it more viable!
