I was thinking the evolve game type, but with human players trying to escape or get the weapons needed to kill the monster. In a simlar vain to dead by daylight.
But I guess they could also do something like what Fable Legends was planning.
Another thing that’s really exciting about seeing Gears 6 is The Coalition usually tends to assist other XGS studios that use Unreal Engine, I think Matt Booty said The Coalition was working with Undead Labs on State of Decay 3 so I really can’t wait to see what they do with Gears 6 and how much they get out of Unreal Engine because it could be a sign of things we see in other games aswell.

Campaign going open world again?
Seems like that is their plan going forward for campaigns
Unfortunately yeah, seems like it’s easier to develop vs hand crafted linear levels.

I have honestly never heard or though open-world is easier to develop. More like it’s just going for the buzzword and trend of open-world like most everything else.

The open world for MW3 was basically just the Warzone map.

Let’s not jump to conclusions yet - MWIII was a case where the developer was pretty much crunching for 18 months to get a game out for last year. Perhaps, this one might be more well-thouhght out 
Sure, and the actual workers have my sympathies but they charged full price for the product so I’ll judge it by that standard, regardless of how the product came to be.
As for the next game, I’m sure it’ll be well thought out and executed better, Treyarch have a track record of making pretty decent single player experiences.

I do hope the Xbox show won’t leak completely. I mean it’s April, let’s chill. I mean CoD being there, fucking duh, but hopefully some new stuff won’t leak. If some insider says Fable, I won’t be mad, I mean come on, if that isn’t here then wtf, you know? But let unannounced stuff stay that way until Xbox announces it.
I’d rather not attribute it to MS regarding the popularity of CoD. Season 3, from what I hear, is very much a ‘return to form’ for a lot of the game visually and design wise. Sledgehammer out of all of the CoD devs are pretty good at supporting CoD!
Wouldn’t be shocked if some of it is controlled to counteract the recent dooming.
