I am personally very indifferent to 3rd or 1st person, I would like the game to come out asap so that Wolfenstein 3 becomes closer to us.

The Old Blood and The New Order are below 80% and both are two of the best FPS games of all time so I don’t know about that. Weirdly enough The New Colossus which is the weakest (still a very good game though) entry got the higher scores. I left Youngblood out of this on purpose because I want to forget that it even exists. 
Now under Xbox and with Game Pass (and a HUGE IP of course) as the big ticket to access a huge audience hopefully they’ll get the success that they deserve, I really loved their output last generation.

Likely because it had more edgy and shocking subjects which critics love, as well as better presentation and really damn cool set-pieces and mission settings. The New Order had better stealth, atmosphere, and exploration which is why I also prefer it over Colossus, but Colossus was also so damn good.
If they’re going to call it the dial of destiny, someone somewhere in the movie needs to yell “Don’t touch that dial!” at some point.

I’ll go out with binoculars someday and try to spy on Machinegames to see if it’s first or third person.

I think it is possible that it will like that other Indiana Jones games where the fighting and movement was in third person (I guess?) but shooting was in the first person.
Or maybe some puzzle sovling will be in first person like all those old quest games.

Yeah this is where I’m leaning at too.
Fallout and Elder Scrolls style where you can switch between 1st and 3rd at any time.

The character model and I’d imagine voice talent aren’t going to be based on Harrison’s Indiana so I’m not too fussed if its 1st person or third.
Would probably prefer 1st person just to see all the tears and tantrums, lol

In Deus Ex it would only go in third person for when leaning against walls and then shooting iirc, or not even shooting. That would mean the bigger part of the game is first person.
I dont mind it being either, I do think 3rd person is probably more appropriate but it doesn’t bother me
I hope it’s third person purely because I don’t want to deal with the annoying af discourse this debate has brought already nevermind once it’s revealed
As for Todd’s comments, I certainly wouldn’t take those as a sign of it’s camera view, when he said the game was a mix of things I was thinking more about it blending different generes like platformers/puzzle/shooters etc
