And this is why I love the XboxEra reviews, because of the dedication and commitment to getting things right.
Clown shoes.
I’ll just use their logic. Nintendo always does a 24 hour review embargo from what I remember. So by their logic, TotK is looking to score worse than Ghostwire Tokyo. Nintendo should be more confident…
Honestly, I hope somebody outside of Microsoft calls them out for it because that’s the only way they’ll learn. I don’t care how good or bad a game is, but when you host a review aggregator site then you shouldn’t be throwing shots like that.
I def feel everybody on all angles are trying to dunk on this game, and it’s most likely because it’s a xbox console exclusive tbh
New Xbox UI is clean. Solid improvement
It’s fine. I used to use their site all the time over metacritic. I guess I won’t anymore. This pile on, even from a review aggregator for an Xbox exclusive is nuts.
Why wouldn’t you use their site now?
It was dumb of them of them sure but some of y’all taking this stuff way too personal.
Who cares what they say.
Why support unprofessional behaviour? It’s the same as a YouTube channel or Twitter user.
It’s not taking things personal, I just don’t reward them.
Just let redfall be a gaas game attempt and move on.
Not a GAAS
Back to what they do best. Ideally a sequel to 2017’s Prey. But today I read that someone that was heavily involved in the first game left the studio. Still, doesn’t mean they can’t make a proper sequel.
But the bad stuff some of the reviews mentioned, I’m surprised, after making Prey.
Fair enough.
I’m ready to go for 7p and really interested to jump in…regardless of what any review says.
Oddly all the noise has made me more curious lol.
It had an item shop and different currency’s in early builds. To me it’s clear what sort of game it was at the beginning.
They don’t have to go back to prey.
It’s not a GAAS
Sidebar: this is how I feel knowing Xbox won’t waste resources on “big” third party deals and will continue to focus on building up it’s studio, global publishing deals, and acquisitions.
You’re right it’s not a gaas. It seems to be a game that started as one and then changed direction just like Gotham knights.
That was likely the studio head, he was also the director of Prey but I don’t think that matters too much
Immersive Sims are the DNA of the studio, I’d have full confidence in them making a sequel or spiritual successor
Good one, Jez. I quite dislike those thumbs too.
They are not a small indie company, they can do both.
