Xbox Game Studios |OT10| Here are the games

I don’t see it as this binary. Maybe Slipspace has caused problems for content delivery, but we know that it’s super scaleable across platforms and has arguably the best Halo game feel in the entire franchise.

Other engines might be “easier” but they will have their own challenges and it will be a not insignificant effort to get it feeling like Halo.

Plus we practically placed UE on the pedestal. I remember 360 gen, almost every game wanted taste of it, only to fumble a lot. Not saying the engine is bad, but it can’t be for every game.

Halo can’t go through another Infinite and that games issues are more than just bad management, the engine seems to be a compete and utter nuisance

The “feel” of Halo is important but lets not pretend most of the games don’t feel different to each other and personally Halo is less about what it feels like and more what it actually offers within it’s sandbox

I’ll take a Halo where it feels different but still retains it’s own unique physics and sandbox systems if it means they are actually able to produce content without issues of something breaking

As for Forge we’ve already seen what Fortnite can do with it UE5 content thingy, losing Forge because of no more Blam/slipspace is no longer an issue

We should just let the folks that make the games decide what tools they use. They know better than us what the limitations are and they know better than us what bottlenecks they are running into with their games.

This whole “arguing that it’s UE’ s” fault just goes to the point I made yesterday, where people just go to assigning blame without any information lol.

Yup, Starfield has to be a banger and defy expectations (squash the bugs).

I was only saying, not confirming. Basically, there are reasonable arguments/evidences to say such claim, but not certain if it is the fault. So best to drop it.

What evidence? That you can only think of 1 other game of a similar format on UE4 that hits 60fps?

The classic is here

We can stop talking about it now

See it yearly lol. Whenever my fraternity goes bowling this Dutch version gets posted

still great :joy:

I was referring 360 days. Remember how UE was practically everywhere.

Voted Yes. Games should be fully optimized with a 60FPS performance mode option.

Hahaha. That was funny. All those Hitler meme videos are hilarious.

This guy loves Minecraft Legends I feel that Minecraft Legends is very underrated he seems extremely deep in his strategy and I can’t wait to see 4 Vs 4 games with Professionals of the genre. I also can’t wait to see how the game evolves, new mechanics they will add Minecraft Dungeons was content poor in its early days and it had a following Amazing Minecraft Legends will add content every month. I don’t think we can trust ratings for this type of game.

Industry has changed… With gamepass no reviews are required to decide playing a game

Review it yourself

Minecraft Dungeons received similar press reviews when it was released, which didn’t stop the game from amassing over 15 million players and getting very good player reviews (91% on Steam).
