reviewers almost always have problems reviewing games targeting younger or more casual audiences
From what I gathered, the multiplayer rules and if it is like Dungeons or long lasting effect like SoT, then this will skyrocket.
The same guy made a huge camp
I loved playing Age of Empires 2 and Starcraft 2 but it could easily become one of my favorite RTS’s the design is so different, unique and feels so satisfying and the game is visually vibrant.
This kind of games are like a drug to me so Im sure I will put hundreds of hours to it.
Minecraft is to big to fail. Does not matter the review score. I feel gamers nowdays are to caught up in review score. We as Xbox gamers should not really care too much about 1st party game’s review score. We have Gamepass, we can just try the games ourself’s without fear of paying full price for something we won’t like.
Kind of nuts how the narrative just omits HiFi Rush and Age of Empires 2 …not 12 weeks ago.
Are people seriously worried about Minecraft. Dungeons was mid too…still very popular.
Reviews for GAAS just doesn’t do much for me. It’s an evolving game that will be completely different a year from now.
Agree100%. Prime example is Sea of thieves.
At least you can trust them to update. Unlike Ubisoft who practically give up the moment it doesn’t hit the number.
I really feel like everyone who actually plays the game loves it I wish Minecraft Legends was a Shadowdrop like Hi-Fi Rush I feel like the press couldn’t do anything against Hi -Fi Rush and the hype the game was generating. I also have this feeling that the press seems to be sabotaging Microsoft games before they come out
They’ll lose in the end. It will be Super Mario Bros Movie of gaming in terms of effect.
More reason I think maybe MS should start announcing things much closer to release.
It’s wild but it happens. Folks can’t help themselves, I’ve been not giving any of these folks my engagement. No comments, likes, tweets, nothing. Hopefully by next week those folks will have burnt themselves out.
Nothing can stop Minecraft though, should see how much my kids are excited about Minecraft Legends and no meta critic score will change their minds!
Skill Up sold me on this game with his explanations and praises for the very unique rts gameplay and the challenging campaign that requires creative problem solving.
Mojang needs to stop trying to diversify Minecraft
Lots of people like Dungeons and I’m sure a lot of people will like this.
Why? Kids seem to enjoy these games plenty despite the reviews (which aren’t even bad) and it’s an ideal way to expand upon a major franchise that doesn’t lend itself to sequels. Plus since they rely on external partners it minimises the strain on Mojang so they can continue to support Minecraft. Seems a win win to me?
No? I may not be interested in Legends but it will be very popular with kids and is a great addition to the Game Pass library.
Yep I have put hundreds of hours to Dungeons and have still some expansions left to buy and I will put hundreds of hours on Legend thanks to what I have been reading.
