“It’s full of adventure, full of laughs, full of real emotion. And it’s complex and it’s sneaky,” Harrison Ford tells Empire. Stepping back into the world of Indy was no mean feat. “The shooting of it was tough and long and arduous,” he says. “But I’m very happy with the film that we have.”
If there’s something Indiana Jones hates more than snakes, it’s Nazis. Ever since Raiders Of The Lost Ark , Harrison Ford ’s hero has been fighting Hitler’s hordes – thwarting their plans, brawling with them, or even just letting them be hoisted by their own petard when meddling with ancient mythical relics. Given that the upcoming (as-yet-untitled) Indiana Jones 5 is set decades after the events of World War II, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Indy might have a different enemy this time around. But while much is new in the upcoming blockbuster, some things never change: if Indiana Jones is back in action, so too are some familiar fearsome forces.
Empire can reveal that Indiana Jones 5 finds our hero in 1969, living against the backdrop of the space race – but the American effort to beat the Russians to the moon brings with it some uncomfortable truths for Indy. “The simple fact is that the moon-landing program was run by a bunch of ex-Nazis,” Indiana Jones 5 co-writer (and acclaimed British playwright) Jez Butterworth tells Empire. “How ‘ex’ they are is the question. And it gets up Indy’s nose…” Pitching Indiana – a man always looking to the secrets of the Earth rather than the stars – into the era of the astronaut finds him even more a man out of time. “It’s not just that the model of what a hero is has completely changed,” says Butterworth. “It’s not just that they’re looking for something where there’s nothing up there – it’s like Reno without the gambling, or whatever his line is. But the people that are behind it are, you know, his sworn enemies.”
Enter Mads Mikkelsen’s villainous Voller – see above – inspired partly by real-life Nazi-turned-NASA-engineer Wernher von Braun. “He’s a man who would like to correct some of the mistakes of the past,” teases Mikkelsen of Voller. “There is something that could make the world a much better place to live in. He would love to get his hands on it. Indiana Jones wants to get his hands on it as well. And so, we have a story.”
It’s a story that blends fact, fiction, fedoras and fascists – including a major action set-piece set at the Apollo 11 ticker tape parade in New York, thrown to celebrate the astronauts on 13 August 1969.

I think it was FH4 with the seasons. But it’s not real time though, they changed them via updates, wasn’t it? I wonder how this could work for Fable. Will it change once you get to a certain point in the story or will it be very similar to FH4?
As for other games, during one of the demonstrations of Hogwarts it seemed that the game has seasons, or did it just look like this? It was during the part where they show a small part from the outside world.
Seasons in Forza Horizon are a weekly cycle
On Xbox it takes 30-60 secs to switch between them with a loading screen (i believe this can be easily implemented in Fable)
Although, in free roam it’s fixed season per week
But you can choose any season in any custom race at anytime

Very excited to see what they will do with this for Fable.
As for FH. It’s only 4 with seasons, right? Or can you have them with 5 too in custom races?
Replaying the campaign of Halo Infinite and the PvE gameplay is so damn satisfying and great. And it makes even more infuriating there is still no word about Firefight.

WIth how much they are putting in Forge, and how much further they are pushing it by adding AI’s soon, people will be able to make that.

How did I not know this! Damn. But the seasons aren’t there in general free roam? How do you create these custom races again?
In free roam they are fixed for each week
To create custom races
Simply enter the race you want to play
Click left d-pad and select event lab create blue print
You will get all sort of options then to customise the event (cars, to time of day, season etc)
Click publish and play your custom event

Yes, but that’s not the same thing as a proper mode with progression, achievements, rewards, events etc. Which is what I hope the PvE will be like at least.

Wait for Project Tatanka.
Iirc, in an IGN’s livestream, Sean Baron from 343i said something about XP in Forge/Custom being in the works.

I wonder for how many years Halo should have been delayed to launch with everything?
I wonder if we will get a new Voodoo Vince game in the future.

Finally a really good post on Reddit. I for one had not noticed the floating bullets in the zero-g gunplay part during the deep dive. This person has noticed several cool things. Bethesda is back with the attention to detail!

I think ZOS will be 2024. I do wonder what games are coming in 2025. I guess from ID?

I’m guessing a 2024 release
I think this is the one with job descriptions talking about big verticality in the world, ZOS could be a real dark horse, all we know them for right now is ESO

I am leaning towards 2025 for ZOS game, figure if it’s an online game they’ll want to make sure they have a nice content pipeline going and (assumingly) massive online games have to be more complex to build.
