I wonder then if it launches the same year as Project Dragon which is allegedly also an online game. I don’t think Project Dragon is 2024 title .
Maybe Dragon is… 2026 haha. Feels like we found out about that one before the ink even dried lol.
Either way we have a ton to look forward to over the next few years.
Im kind of hoping we see 5 games at the game awards
- Starfield
- Redfall
- Avowed
- Hellblade 2
- Project Midnight
That would make it the best TGA in years, if not ever.
Imagine if they had release dates for Redfall in March and Starfield for June in these trailers. That would make me jump through my ceiling of excitement. But as always…expect nothing, then you can’t be disappointed.
I expect 2 or 3 at best.
New game is probably close to an official announcement. Good timing because Elder Scrolls Online is in a bad state. Lack of quality content, balancing issues, bugs and crashes. ZOS even wrote an apology letter.
The raiding/trials community is dead. I don’t need to talk about PvP.
Few weeks ago ZOS announced new cosmetics for gestures like when you pick up alchemy ingredients. You invest more in MTX stuff because the player base is declining.
ESO hardcore community dead, new game on the way.
My money is still on them sticking to their 12-month structure from SGF. Meaning, we’ll only hear from games releasing in the next calendar year.
It made sense for SGF, it makes even more sense now. And eventually we’ll get to a place when everything they’ve currently got announced have been released, at which point they’ll be able to spring fully formed surprises on us, à la Fallout 4.
I’d like to think that was on E3 thing and they will still have shows like X0 or TGA where they focus on games that are further out.
It makes sense because E3 is basically a here is the next 12 months of Game Pass show, including third parties. That doesn’t really carry over to a show like TGAs, hopefully.
I still think showing Indiana Jones as a multiplatform title at TGA would bolster their arguments with the regulatory bodies. Do it.
I don’t play ESO so I can’t speak on its issues but there’s currently 20k people playing it right now on steam alone which is roughly what it’s been at since early 2022
FO76 has been getting more support than ever with less players
The Laptop Gun was in the trailer so that’s a lock at least.
Casual community is in a good state. It has ton of lore and great story for every Elder Scrolls fans. Overland content is very easy and you can play with every build/set.
Dungeon and trials, the raiding community, is dying because ZOS wants to make everything easier, but at a same time makes everything harder for the hardcore community. ZOS didn’t really balance the changes for all content.
Before the lastest Breton expansion the raiding community started a project to make raiding more accessable. Join the discord channel and you have a lot of raid leaders who wants to help and play with you. At the beginning it was a success, but after the Breton expansion and the balancing patch the discord server is dead.
PvP is being ignored since the Morrowind expansion and the new serves which should fix the lag problems are coming next year. ZOS said when the lag is fixed, new pvp content is coming which means almost 5 years for new PvP content.
Here to eradicate the multi platform energy.
Now, first person energy…
TPS is the best
Reject multiplatform, embrace first person
Fallout and Skyrim still lol. Bethesda games are eternal on pc.
The Bike Shop sim game idea from Josh Swayer has been interesting me quite a bit. I’m imagining:
You’re a bike shop owner in a small town where everyone knows everyone. You sell and fix bikes, naturally, mostly to parents, their kids and teenagers. You hear from them what they say to you and what they say to each other, you piece together what the nature of their relationships are, what are their struggles, what might be going on in the town, between families, within families, and between groups of friends and families.
Potentially something happens in that town that troubles the community, and one day you are asked whether you know or suspect something about who might be involved and stuff like that, what you say could change relationships and impacts the community significantly.
Sounds like it should be a neighborhood bar, but wouldn’t for alcohol reasons.
Or a local barbershop
