I haven’t started it yet, but I think I will try to play it before our GOTY lists are due here. Hope the humour hits with me, I have never watched Rick and Morty so I have no bias so to speak.
What I have seen of High On Life looks stupid and funny though hehe.
I’ve talked with the darktide pr team, I get the sense that the PC version being so broken at times lately is keeping them from putting a hard date on console.
I don’t agree its only negative noise. As I had mentioned previously, the games in this new drop are awesome but holding off a pre-announced thing to be re-announced seems strange. Multiple other users made similar statements.
Then being lumped in as “whiners” is not only disrespectful but brings unnecessary drama.
High on life is great, but it’s a one and done 10 hour experience. Subscriptions like GamePass need endless content in many genres. Personally if I wasn’t locked in for 3 years I’d cancel and return when redfall or Starfield drops.
As a paying customer I’m allowed to be critical.
The main issue here like always is the marketing team and lack of communication.
Every other year has had a second December drop and an early Jan drop. How hard would it be for Xbox to communicate in December that there won’t be any drops as a big showcase is coming up in January and that is where they will next talk about GamePass?
They still have not confirmed the show either, it might not happen.
I don’t wanna derail this thread anymore than it has been. I mean no disrespect to you at all. If that came across like that to you I’m sorry. I’m just presenting how I feel about the whole situation. I respect your opinion and hopefully you respect mine.
You’re fine! I don’t hold any ill will towards you or what you’ve said.
The problem I have is some folks making blanket statements and misrepresenting what folks have been saying. I’m always down for civil discussion and disagreements, but I will call out folks for arguing in a place that doesn’t include good faith.
Move slower and easier when you first start it to be sure you don’t get any motion sickness. I was trying to rush into the real action and was looking for hidden items so I kept using the sprint/jump/dash combo and it did not produce good feels. Everything was fine after I let up on that the next day.
Even putting aside the humor, it’s a surprisingly competent game. The action isn’t exactly Doom 2016/Eternal, but it has a pretty fun varied toolset that you can use in battle and to platform around and look for hidden goodies.
I’m not a huge FPS fan because I tend to find them boringly obsessed with realism, so it’s always fun to have something unorthodox like this or say Singularity.
Had a great time with this, but I ended up having too massive a farm and nothing to spend my piles of money on. The biggest problem was finding the time and space to sort out all my plovers!
