If you combine the whole month then it is relatively decent. Of course it is nowhere near some stuff from the last year. But you really feel that there is a lack of output for Microsoft first party studios.
Of course it remains to be seen what Sony will introduce. I hope Xbox also gets Ubisoft+ Classics or something. But it is interesting that for Xbox, AC: Origins was mentioned but for PS+ Ubisoft mentioned AC: Valhalla. So probably the offerings will be different.
Also it proves that Sony moneyhatted FIFA2022 for their service. Crazy that EA even allowed the game to skip their own service. Sony has some serious clout there.
It seems like that second drop was almost all (if not all) things we already heard about coming to GP anyway, so no surprises there.
I guess they’re holding back for the showcase?

Damn MS really did get screwed by Sony money hatting FIFA.
Also I think any one of us would agree that since the Tunic drop it’s been pretty dry. No Stalker like in the original Xbox plans as well as no 1st party titles is really dragging on the value prop with no relief this Summer that we know of.
Yeah, it seems like Microsoft does not have backup plans for situations like this though nobody could predict them. Also there are not many third party releases either and Microsoft is not really interested in bringing in bigger older games either.
I do curious why we still haven’t got Tales of Arise.
Yeah, it’s happened before that Game Preview games landed in the service, and I guess CrossfireX could be called that too. Not a fan of that.
But I do like having Jurassic World Evolution 2 on it and Sniper Elite 5. For the second half those are nice additions for bigger games.
Hm, I think Little Witch is still in early access? So it is not fully released yet.
A few games I will check out for sure, nothing I would have bought though (except Jurassic World 2 which I allready picked up in a sale and promptly added to the backlog for some reason… even more funny is that I have the first one in there too and haven’t played that yet hah).

Oh man, this all sounds so familiar. Buying a brand new game, instead of playing it I end up playing all kinds of other stuff. Recently bought Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, but what am I playing? Some newly added stuff from Game Pass and meanwhile RDR2 has been lying dormant.
We need a better structure for how we handle this, lmao.
Haha, yeah… I’m finally completing more games than I buy though so it’s moving in the right direction. The backlog thread here helps a lot

My sub runs out in 5 days. Need to finish up somnium files before the sequel and 2nd danganronpa. Not gonna renew tbh simply due to having a backlog need to finish
