Xbox Game Pass |OT| Our Backlogs Are Doomed

I searched about a week ago and couldn’t find much about a console release other than it’s coming later. I’d love for it to come to Game Pass on Xbox though, it’s something im interested in playing.

From the developer’s responses on twitter:

[5/April] Will we see Norco on other platforms?

xbox for sure, and we’re hoping to port to others as well.

[2/May] Will Norco be coming to Xbox?

It will! Not sure of the exact date, but by the end of the summer I believe.

What would be a nice Game Pass drop in June would be Tales of Arise.

I finished off a few GamePass titles recently: Guardians of the Galaxy, Tunic, and Life is Strange: True Colors.

Tunic was so amazing because of that feeling of discovery when you get a new piece of the manual or when you find a hidden passage or other things that were there all along, but not known. I’d have to go back to my teenage years of gaming for similar discovery process. Such a masterpiece.

True Colors was a solid entry in the series, far better than the Wolf Pack entry. Some events felt forced/contrived, but I’m fine with it for that larger emotional impact. Pretty good soundtrack for the most part too.

Now to look for some some quick small indie style game to knock out before returning to some backlog titles.

I’m also on a GamePass run. Wrapped up Trek to Yomi and Lost in Random, planning to start Citizen Sleeper and Unsouled soon. I was backer #4 for Eiyuden Chronicle’s Kickstarter, picked up the Rising game only to learn it was coming to GamePass! I took my copy on Switch, I’m not sure if I want to play it on Xbox or there.

But thats the basic tier with a ton of games that are budget.

The actual premium service is coming to xbox too. As a seperate service.

I know it’s coming to Xbox too. However this is the GP thread and I joked about it here as it has been talked about for a long time and that it shows up on PS+ first is kinda funny.

So Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Sniper Elite 5 for second half of this month? And more. That is very nice!

The entire Chinese gaming community is behaving like" nobody likes or cares Bethesda、EA & Xbox games. PS sub just got Ghost of Thushima so they win" condition. I completely don’t understand how PlayStation could win by their old gen 1st party games only, but this is the main stream idea now. There’re hundereds of shitposting from ponies mocking game pass or Xbox users right now in these local forums. It’s like a shit hole! I hope MS could respond in June showcase fircely. The narratives are too easy to be manipulated.

In the mood for a rouge like/lite or similar to my favorite ones I’ve played from Game Pass: Hades, Dandy Ace, Moonlighter, Dreamscaper. There’s plenty on the service but what do y’all think some that are closest to those?

How’d you like it? I stopped at chapter 9, I really like the combat and the cast but the game takes control too much from me I just couldn’t take it anymore

its a great game. Yeah the combat is not the best part of it but its decent. U should increase your damage from the accessibility menu since enemies are bullet sponges. Writing and graphics are top notch.

No I like the combat just fine, enemies being bullet sponges not an issue since you get to use the guardian mode abilities which are just awesome to see. Writing is good when the cast is talking to each other but the story is nonsensical and the fact that the cutscenes are unskipabble makes it worse. And yes the visual are quite good although sometimes some areas can be too much on my eyes with the color palette. LOVE the music too.

Do they change much about the formula in this one? The previous ones were decent stealth sniper galleries but they got repetitive fairly quickly

I don’t know but it will be my first thanks to Game Pass.

It was a very solid game. I didn’t think it was as great as everyone said, but substantially better than what that Marvel’s Avengers game was. I have to give the game props for supporting various accessibility options, so one could dial in the level of combat challenge as desired. As for story, I think I still prefer Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series slightly more than this one.
