You will have more games than you know what to do with, this year in Game Pass.

It will be fine

If they aren’t showing the game I don’t know why they would just announce the date randomly.

All I will say is the amount of games coming in the first half of the year do not matter if the quality of the games is not good.

I still think a year that consists of:

  • Redfall and Forza in the first half
  • Hellblade 2 (yes) and Starfield is a great year Games have to be great obviously!

Is a fantastic year

Forza needs to bring a innovativ racing experience

Redfall needs to be a interesting open word with the charme and the care of Arkanes worlds. Also have good gunplay and interesting abilities.

Hellblade has to be the best looking shit of the year and potentially be a benchmark in graphics. Also expand the combat and world while stay true to what made the first game great

Starfield needs to meet and exceed expectations so much on xbox success is sitting on the Starfield. Xbox HAS MUST make sure that Starfield slaps.

Thats my opinion

Depends on their 1st party output latter half of 2023. First half is stacked. I don’t expect announcements for 2ndhalf of 2023 until E3

I’m curious to know if they will share some new info about AOM Retold. I’m really waiting for this game. I loved Age of Mythology

I am lucky enough to be looking forward to one of the games that will appear in the show for sure: Redfall :vampire:

I don’t think we are hearing about AoM any time soon.

Three more days for MS to make this official. Aaron did tweet this would be a good week. Would be good to have this official, rumor no more.

I’m wondering if they’re planning (or were planning) to announce it only a day or two out like Nintendo and Sony do. I feel that sets expectations.

But I guess that doesn’t line up when it’s not for a while yet and this is supposed to be the ā€œfun weekā€, so I guess it’ll be announced 2 weeks out?

This is where my expectations are at for this year tbh.

I would add a functioning and fair MTX/live service for Forza Motorsport too.

I understand your point of view and on one hand, I agree seeing as how for me personally, all Microsoft has given me in two years is Gears Tactics and Halo Infinite. But on the other hand, Halo Infinite was my 2021 game of the year (my first Microsoft goty since Gears of War 2 in 2008) and two years in, Xbox Series X has already surpassed all of the Xbox One generation for me.

When compared to my primary gaming console for last generation which was PlayStation 4, I didn’t get any 8+ rated games for me personally until 2016 with Ratchet & Clank, Alienation and Uncharted 4 (all three were an 8.5/10 for me). 2023 is the equivalent of 2016 for this generation. Third full calendar year just started ten days ago.

Also, they’re already starting off better than the last two years in regards to day one games on Game Pass that I personally want to play - Monster Hunter Rise on January 20th and Atomic Heart on February 21st. Not showing Starfield until E3 2023 and releasing in November would be massive disappointment for many Xbox fans but im not one of them. In fact, im hoping for November because the first six months of 2023 is stacked and packed to where I have over 10 games not including any games that haven’t been given an official release date yet (such as Redfall) and with there being no new COD game this year, if anything giving Bethesda Game Studios a full year delay regardless of if it pisses people off or not is the far better decision if the game isn’t ready by June.

If Starfield does release in June, im hoping it’s June 23rd because it’s the day after Final Fantasy XVI releases for PlayStation 5 and I want to see Microsoft have balls and go head to head with Sony, Square Enix and FFXVI. Of course, they would probably choose June 30th just to be fucking nice. UGH. SMH.

Forza in March/April, Redfall in May, Hellblade 2 in September or November and Starfield in November or September would be one hell of a year in my opinion.

This would be one of the best years for Xbox ever.

No mention of Minecraft Legends whatsoever? strange, is a 1st party game and will probably sell more than all the game listed above combine except maybe Starfield. People are really disrespecting Minecraft the Biggest selling Game of all time.

We might get to see Starfield but probably more along the lines of an announcement of an announcement that studios like to do now.

Minecraft is massive but I will say what my friend used to say to me in regards to Tetris and Intelligent Cube, ā€œit’s just blocksā€. lol

So Minecraft is not the game for you, OK Fine. No need to call it ā€œjust blocksā€ That like me saying Mario is just a Fat Man jumping lol or God of War is just a Walking Movie Simulator lol It’s fine you don’t play Minecraft but to say it just Blocks is straight disrespectful. Need to broaden your genres range of games man.

Here’s a fun fact - I bought and played Minecraft Dungeons. I played through a few missions or whatever and that game was deleted. Just not for me. And when compared to Starfield which isn’t going to be on 11 other platforms including their primary competition in Sony, yeah, it’s far more important in the grand scheme of things than Minecraft.

Srry I forgot
