New messaging around Starfield

Compared to initial announcement

I have this odd feeling we get a show in late February/early March, with a release date latest June. Gives them 3 months to go into hyperdrive for marketing.

Sounds about right.

Would be great

Keep the hype going with shows every couple of months whether it’s dedicated shows for Starfield or more varied like the D_D

So much better than the one big show each year

And there you have it…

Hopefully they announce it in early February though, ideally end of the Direct. Then the hype train can begin. But if they do it the same as how they announced their first Direct it will be three weeks beforehand.

Ideally, two days before the show.

Hell no. You mean two days before the Starfield show airs? I’d hate that. Give us a few weeks of looking forward to it.

It’s not a live event so there is no need announcing weeks in advance. People will be excited that they will see the game in a matter of days.

I’m most looking forward to playing Redfall but for this show, I think I’m most excited to see Forza Motorsport. I’m expecting it to be one of this generation’s first technical showpieces. And FM will be a lot better to play without the 2 minute loading between races we had last generation. Dusting off my wheel now!

Also intrigued by this Minecraft Legends. Never been into anything Minecraft but as a fan of strategy games, this one does look interesting.

Assuming there won’t be any surprises, that’s a great thing because it means Redfall will get a true deep dive based on the time allotted. If any dev needs a deep dive to really sell their games, it’s Arkane.

I see what you mean, but personally I really would just like a date, so that I know when we can expect it.

Australia Day?

National Day? (India)

I see some folks getting carried away. So I think this reminder may be in order:

I mean if you go by TGS 2022 logic, I guess you can live with that. Lol

Anything less than shadow-dropping Scalebound will be a disappointment.

I know Square released good ones, but what’s up with them in delivering bad/mediocre ones. It’s either balanced or negative outweighs it barely. You can have blunders, but not this many.

Please please please at least some gamepass surprises…even if they are sh1t :v
