Really fooled, When? has Xbox ever had a show with no host and just gameplay?
I’ve been hearing rumours the Xbox Series VR will be announced here alongside their portable, must be a hardware blowout, can’t wait! I will be extremely upset if it’s not there.

Well, yeah. Goes without saying. I’ll definitely be upgrading to the Series X P. But as far as reveals go, I’m more excited about the reveal of the Series XP. Their new portable console with Series X specs.
I hear the Series X P will have a built in charging dock for the Series XP. That one’s just a rumour though, so may not actually be revealed at the show.
Oh, really? I hadn’t heard that. Makes sense. I wonder if the VR will work with the X P or only the XP.

I think not announcing these things at this show would mean Xbox has failed as a brand and Satya should close it all down.

So after expressing my disappointment with how things are going for Xbox lately, I’ve don’t the only sensible thing and renewed my gpu sub for another year 
Jokes aside, starfield, redfall, silksong, atomic heart, stalker, lies of p, wo long, replaced, are all coming out soon enough, 55 euros even for half of those games isn’t a bad deal atfer some consideration of alternatives.
Also making clear what this new direct is going to be and what we can expect is a huge plus.

I think that the “bonus” will be Cyberpunk coming to Gamepass.
a date for GoldenEye would be nice. Otherwise? No, don’t expect a “one more thing”.

Given how cagey the XGP team has been in terms of communication since early December, I do suspect they’ve been saving up some announcements for the show. Fingers crossed they have something exciting up their sleeve.

But if not, I hope once we head into February we just go back to the normal way of things. It’s weird as hell if we gotta consider games coming on the 19th and beyond as wave 1 games. Also super odd how they didn’t communicate at all about Mortal Shell being re-added, Stranded Deep, also those strange messages some people got about Shadow Warrior 3 coming to Game Pass, Street Fighter.
And there’s of course Hot Wheels. Communication regarding all that is…non existent.
Everyone already knows Starfield won’t be at this “showcase” since Microsoft has said exactly what 4 titles will be there.

I wonder how Xbox will deliver updates for their other service games like Season 3 for Halo Infinite. I would think this developer direct would be a good way to showcase that stuff.
