Just to be more clear…this is not a rumor, per se. Or at least, it is not claimed by Tom to be a rumor. This is him claiming it is a leak. Two different things. There is always a chance his source is wrong. I’ve noted that several times in the thread already. We should not try to transform what is probably a 10% chance the source is wrong into a 50% chance though, as many in the thread seem interested in doing.

Does Square even have five games that can be at the Xbox showcase that can be day 1 on game pass? Capcom I doubt as well they seem to be against subscription services I can’t think of a single game of theirs on game pass.

Potential Square Titles:

1. Final Fantasy VII Remake (Integrade?)
2. Outriders: Worldslayer (DLC) 3/4. Voice of Cards (two games from Yoko Taro)
3. Just Cause 5
4. Star Ocean The Divine Force
5. The Diofield Chornicles ?? Multiple remakes/ports (FFXIV, Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, FFIX Remake, etc.)

And this isn’t including additional external partners that haven’t been rumored that could be in the works (another LiS? NieR?)

Typically, xbox’s most knowledgeable insiders were Jeff and Jez, and Klobrille prior, but he doesn’t really leak things nowadays, he just does really dope fan marketing. Both Jeff and Jez state that they know nothing, so i personally have a hard time believing Tom knows much, if anything at all.

What excuse did he supposedly make? He literally said he was gonna show the list to everyone after the show. And he is no less confident than any other leaker likely is about any other topics/leak/rumor/claim. He trusts his source and said so.

What Capcom can even show for 4-5 projects? They have their own showcase on Monday too. Square Enix?

CAPCOM has specifically stated their showcase is only for previously announced titles IIRC.

Some potential games:

1. Dragons Dogma 2
2. Monster Hunter World 2 (Or whatever they’ll call it)
3. Monster Hunter Rise Port?
4. CAPCOM Arcade 2nd Stadium

??? Multiple other potentially unannounced games, remasters/compilations, etc.

Not to mention whatever Sony has showed off already that MIGHT not be under that “NO GAME PASS” clause.

We have to remember, these are publishers. They have many games in the works.
