We’ll find out on Thursday. If it shows up on Geoff’s show it’s self-published or PlayStation. If it doesn’t it’s the Xbox game.
I’m guessing its not the Xbox game because of the overlap with Project Mara. Then again they bought Bethesda after already having Obsidian and they’re going to own like 5 out of 7 of the top FPS shooters if they close the Activision deal so they don’t seem to give a damn about overlap.
Multiplatform because I doubt Sony would reveal that on some third party showcase.

I agree, I always tend to lower my expectations before a showcase so I can walk away pleasantly surprised

I still bet Halo’s ‘BR’ mode is announced at the showcase. My other conspiracy theory is it is formally revealed in trailer on showcase, then on Tuesday it is given a deeper dive, then they shadow drop it on Tuesday. 
One of those would satisfy me except ff7r. That would be nice but persona more important.

I guess they are building hype in preparation of the showcase. If Xbox had more events this week, it would be literally Xbox week. Granted Sony showed several Xbox games anyway.

It’s interesting to me that the footage for Kojima’s game that Tom saw had a ‘game over’ screen included. Why include that in a trailer? That makes me wonder if it is either gameplay segment OR more likely that Kojima intends to tease something with the game over screen.
