Yeah, best we can hope for is someone from Obsidian talking about Pentiment and Grounded and then mentioning something about Avowed.
It makes sense not to show Fable if the game is coming out until 2024. However, I think this showcase has shown Microsoft needs more than one show a year. I don’t count showing a game or 2 at the VGAs, but they need to do something similar to PS state of play and Nintendo Direct. I think limiting yourself to one show makes many question pipeline and forget about certain games. I think starting next year or heck even this fall they need to have their own shows that highlight first party, gamepass partnerships, third party marketing, etc.
If I was running the show at Microsoft I would have a special showcase in 2023 that shows more Starfield and sprinkle that event with some announcement and other games.

No doubt about. We will see something on Gamescom, TGA and TGS. They should bring XO too.
But in general for 12 month cadence, they need either 2 conferences every 6 month or 3 conference at 4 month.

You seem to forget the outcry over Crackdown 3.
Microsoft usually doesn’t show new stuff at TGS, but do show stuff at TGA. I think they just need to have their own shows every quarter. I think doing that may also help increase viewers they get for their shows any of course increase brand awareness. I def feel we need to see a bit more of starfield and showing a more stable build can help turn some of the negativity around too
By the way, remember the tease by the Deathloop actor on Twitter not long ago about a new project? That was something I was expecting too. Really wonder what that is.
Could be a standalone for Deathloop (hopefully only for Xbox) and since they cannot talk about Deathloop yet they decided to not announce this either.
I’m expecting Deathloop tomorrow on the extended Xbox Showcase.

You shouldn’t. Playstation contract still in effect and it involves not disclosing release on the other platform for its duration. Deathloop most likely gonna be a shadowdrop.

That would be cool, but that would surprise me. It sounds like a Sony thing to have in the contract they can’t discuss the Xbox version until exclusivity ends.

To be honest even Xbox’s timed exclusive deals are like this but of course they’re way shorter
Its stupid but factual. Ms cannot show deathloop otherwise they would. If they could shoe deathloop theyd have given it a short trailer with gamepass date.
Also i want to briefly talk about ff7 remake
I actuslly think theres a chance this still comes out for xbox. The reason it skipped this show was due to no gamepass deal
So at the SE event…FF7 remake intergrade announced for steam and xbox with 70 dollar launch price. Thats my prediction.
And one more thing…to those saying 2021 show was better…based on what? They showed wayore gameplay this show.

in terms of pace it was better. the XboxBethesda 2022 dragged on at times… i think they wasted way too much time on some games that did NOT deserve so much attention.
