Eiyuden Chronicles HH is a spiritual sequel to the Suikoden Franchise and is confirmed DAY ONE Gamepass title. Wether its shown here or their next event it WILL be shown and MS will and should promote it.

With rumours of Sonyâs fling with SE progressing towards a MarriageâŚMS need to go all out on Atlus and other JRPG devs.
But isnât Eiyuden coming this month? Wouldnât make much sense at all to show it there. If itâs just part of a GP trailer with recently added titles and new ones sure, but no more attention than that should be needed.
I just especially hope a good amount of XGS has stuff ready, stuff coming soon like this year and next. 2024 would be a awesome extra, but I expect if that happens it will be CG.
I do expect to still see plenty of third party content, but I can see that becoming less of a focus in future shows when XGS overall could just fill a whole show.

I agree. At least half of that list should not be shown. I want to see the AAA blockbusters. A 5 minute Indie montage is fine but yeah, im with you. I donât want to see this showcase be two hours but 75% of it is Game Pass/Indies because thatâs not doing anything for me. Like, come on.
I agree with showing their own first party AAA games as well as AAA third party multi-platform games. Jedi 2 is perfect. Should be revealed later this month and them saying, tune in for the gameplay reveal at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on June 12th would be awesome. Stuff like this is exactly what I want to see in addition to Microsoftâs first party titles (internal and external).
Out of every rumored game out there, the mic drop for me would be a reveal of the 1 vs. 100 successor. Please Xbox!

Saying this kind of defeats the purpose, but having it go 100 minutes instead of 90 is a good way to surprise people with a big âone more thingâ or even the last two games.
Like everything these days, the presentations are so over analyzed that people will say âOk this is 5 minutes on Lego Star Wars, that means we only have 35 minutes for Halo/Hellblade/Etcâ so playing with those online expectations could be smart.
Yeah Brass Lion Entertainment have been really quiet, they are currently recruiting a QA tester though!
I mean I would love a showcase dedicated to big AAA exclusive titles coming from XGS and their publishing partners, but I was posting predictions not a wishlist. I just donât think many of those games are ready for big blowouts right now. Including smaller indie titles and new Game Pass titles, alongside big trailers for their upcoming AAAs tracks with how Xbox has handled this type of event imo

I think Jez said that him and Grubb revealed this game very early and the game is likely a few years off (I think it was on Xbox Two from a couple of weeks ago). He also said itâs a slightly smaller project than others in the pipeline so maybe that means itâs sooner than expected.

Problem is, ppl have big expectations, so ending up with a 1.30h most of which filled with indie or niche stuff would be pretty disappointing. I donât think itâs going to be the case since I expect stuff like Avowed to be there but if youâre right then maybe they should switch to a more frequent/less hyped type of event until they are ready.
If you only do 1 show every 12 months, ppl are going to expect big things.
Didnât you like last years show? not even 30% of it was indies if I recall correctly, unless you obviously put games like plague tale in that category. Also this year they supposedly have much more stuff to show from their first party triple A studios so I imagine unless the show is longer, indies will be more scarce.
