Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase announced for Sunday June 12 at 10 a.m. PT + Xbox Games Showcase Extended on June 14th at 10am PT (Spoiler Free)

I think to be fair while Fallout 4 was visually great it wasn’t necessarily up there with some of the graphical showcases of the time - I’d somewhat expect the same from Starfield. I don’t think the point is that there hasn’t been solid improvement between games more that they aren’t a studio at the forefront of graphics like The Coalition or Insomniac.

See, this is a problem, because tech isn’t just the visuals. The settlements system alone is technically legitimately impressive, moreso that they fit it within that open world with the amount of content in it. I’m not saying the game is some technical masterpiece in any way but still, let’s not limit technology to visuals and ignore the many ways where the game uses specific technology to have specialized mechanics unique to BGS games.

Bethesda games are very complex and have a lot of interesting systems. Considering that they use scanning for faces, updated AI and lighting - the game will look good. Radiant AI, NPC density, vast space

I’m really not worried about the visuals either. BGS games look great to me and I don’t care why anyone says. I would want stuff like animation and character orientation to get really, really better though. On top of stuff like eliminating loading screens, I hope and I think they can easily achieve that now.

Also throw in Reshade and community mods :fire:

Oh, so basically we see a ladder, press A and we’re up there?

Just like in the first reveal video

Ah got ya, the climbing itself goes automatically. It’s better than not being able to at all, thats for sure.

Oh absolutely, it’s very impressive and there are plenty of reasons why they can’t just move over to a different engine. I think if they went UE5 they wouldn’t be able to do certain things that make a BGS game a BGS game.

Their games really have their own DNA, nothing else plays and feels quite like it.

Every team and project has different tech requirements and points they focus on. For some its realism of materials, for others its water physics and for Bethesda its their support for the modding community. And they are at the forefront there, no one other comes even close.

That last one would cause a complete and total meltdown on a certain other forum and subreddits so I hope it comes to fruition :joy:

Imagine FF14 and FF7R & Persona 5 Game Pass combo :joy:

Iv seen quite a few people having Kojima’s game as a prediction, even if just a wildcard but i’ll be honest, im not sure it’s even in proper development yet

All we know if that him and xbox have reportedly signed or in the process of signing some sort of agreement, there’s been no real confirmation from Grubb that yes, its definitely happening or anything like that

Plus while we know Kojima is apparantly working on 2 projects, one big and one small apparantly, I wouldnt be surprised if these were both Sony exclusives

We already know he’s wanted to dabble in VR and he had access to Sony’s plus there’s been talks of DS2 happening so I wouldnt be surprised if his big game is DS2 while hes experimenting with VR for a smaller one

I just know if somehow Kojima was doing Silent Hills for Xbox instead the trailer would be picked apart and there’d be all kinds of “Woah this doesn’t look so great…” type shit.

Then if somehow everyone’s memory was wiped and the exact same game trailer aired on a Sony showcase instead it’d be “Holy god damn this looks amazing.”

Anyway Kojima isn’t working with Konami IPs anymore forever so that’s all I can say about that lol.

I would pay huge sums of money to see SH debut on xbox. The tears will be like a tsunami

Glad someone else shares my thoughts. There’s no way he wants to be near anything that resembles Konami anymore.

These ones i can genuinely see occurring. However surrounding the Interview between Todd Howard and Geoff Keighley, i expect the interview to be within Summer Game Fest with some form of gameplay trailer in it, while on the Xbox Bethesda showcase itself we see the Starfield demo.

I would not be surprised if we see something coming out of Machine Games(Indiana Jones), Roundhouse Studios, as well as Compulsion Games. I know Obsidian could very well show something in the showcase other than Grounded(But i feel like it will not happen, it could occur in the extended showcase), maybe Avowed gameplay or Josh Sawyer`s game.

If there is any form of acquisition news it will be on the showcase, do i think the possibility exists. The answer is who knows, however i will say, this would only occur if the studio they acquire is of the smaller scale so i call genuinely see people say Asobo, Platinum and IOI Interactive, or it could instead be on a indie studio scale like say Cococucumber (Echo Generations).

As for third party reveals, am not sure if Modern Warfare 2 would be revealed at the event or not, so i will leave it to a coin toss on that front. However i would not be surprised if either Bandai Namco or EA show something in the event, however if i were to hazard a guess of my own, i could see the likes of Spike Chunsoft, Sega or even Take-Two show something in the event.

They should open more watch parties in more cities.

this is pretty bad imo.

Sommerville ->out Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes → out Expansions/fps boost → out Goldeneye → out etc

They need to show their own freaking games to prove ppl the have some cool stuff coming this year and next year and stop wasting time on stuff nobody cares about.
