But i feel like its rhe same stuff every year. Its like when we kept having fucking madden and nba showcases with nfl players coming on talking about tv mode or some crap.

Maybe i forgot howbit went last year if it was only a trailer for BF or a longer extended showing. Thats what i meant.

Seeing as this will be MSā€™ version of E3 I hope there will be surprises like Phil will come onstage and pull up his arm to have an arm tattoo like Peter Moore with saying MS bought Platinum, then pull up his other arm to say we got Mistwalker too, so more Japanese games will be coming to Xbox.

After that Phil takes off his jacket and his shirt says MS is buying all of WB Interactive Games, too.

As for games I want to see, I hope we get a deep dive into Starfield. A 15 to 20 minute demo would be great.

I hope we get to find out that Roundhouse gets to finally make their version of Prey. Even if it has to be called something else, Iā€™m fine with that, just bring out that alien, bountyhunter game.

I hope we get to hear 343 is in the early stages of working on Halo Wars 3 or a Halo RPG, that is set in the Human vs Forerunner wars. Make it something like Mass Effect and I can see it being very successful.

I would like to hear if The Initiativeā€™s Perfect Dark is third person or first person and possibly see some gameplay.

The Coalition getting to show off their new IP would be really cool to see.

I hope to see Dlala Studios working on a new Commander Keen.

There seriously is a lot of games that I hope to see and I think I wonā€™t be disappointed.

I would write more, but Iā€™m trying not to turn my post, into a book, so Iā€™ll leave with just one more post.

When you think about InXile and Obsidian you know theyā€™ll bring the goods, then you have studios like Arkane and id Software that will also bring the goods, that it is crazy to think how much potential with games being shown off at this event, that it could easily be MSā€™ best game event yet.

How many new official games are we expecting on June 12?

I am expecting at least 3-4

  1. 1 from Compulsion

  2. 1 from Obsidian

  3. 1-2 from studios under Zenimax group

I think your suggestions are pretty good. I will also add that we will probably see Project Belfrey as well, as I am sure Jez said it is targeting an earlish 2023 release.

I think they may have a few surprises or teasers for like project dragon / that rumoured strategy game/

Thinking this show is going to he focusing on the announced games with starfield, redfall, forza taking up a bit of the 90 minutes Then maybe a short in game of avowed, that dusk game, plague take 2

Then most likely the standard updates on fallout 76, eso, sea of theives, flight simulator Possible Forza horizon dlc

And toss in a some indie game and a few other 3rd party games and thatā€™s the show

My hopes though is we have a some bigger surprised like a persona gamepass announcement/ a Japanese aquasition and maybe a few projects that didnā€™t leak or no nothing about

I think this trend will continue for the next few yearsā€¦this one will be the biggest and then next year will be even bigger and so fourth especially with the amount of studios they own now.

I still think we get more than one showcase. The 90 min showcase on the June 12th and another a day later or a few days later with deep dives. This is where we see the long presentation of starfield. I expect a 5 to 7 min trailor still during the main show

See I like that idea do a 3-5 minute overview for the 3-4 big games coming then a few days later do a larger deep dive on those titles

Starfield, Forza, Redfall, alone will get a 10 min gameplay demo. Factor in third partys. Its a 90 min show with the focus being on games releasing within the next 12 months. Contraband as well will be demonstrated.

Iā€™m expecting teaser trailers for Compulsion, something from XGP, Josh Sawyers next game, and maybe the Zenimax online thing.
