COMPLETELY AGREE. Call it E3 Overtime or something, and that’s where you have developers speak about the game, some live demonstrations, Q&A with people watching, and even some live polls with the audience.
There’s going to be a ton of games with only a 30 second clip shown during E3. You can get into those games, give them 3 minutes to get people to fall in love with their game. Sort of like what the id@xbox event did.
Turn the two hour E3 showcase into a day long day of fun.
So I just saw the Halo 5 E3 demo pop up in my recommend and was wondering what you guys think about the Infinite demo pretty much copying this demo. I would maybe give MP some more time at the end but this demo would be a great demo for Infinite. Some cutscenes, gameplay and MP info, I feel like this could be a great template for Infinite. Throw in another 4-8mins for MP and it would be a sound showing.
I still think they will want to spread stuff out a bit to build up to launch so who knows.
Editing will most likely happen right up until a few days before E3, for all we know this is just them talking in a interview might have nothing to do with the actual gameplay footage or w/e
Same, I always play the campaign on legendary with the same freinds since Halo 3, we then play MP after we finish the story.
Even bigger question is why even judge the game without knowing how it’s actually working on Xbox one? One should simply wait and watch.
Also, it isn’t like the game will be held back because of xbox one. The game launched on powerful PC platforms first. So everything what makes the good is already in the game.
If anything will be cut down, it will be for xbox one only. Series X won’t be affected by it.
Come on guys, who are those people saying the campaign is not important in Halo? Some people may like multiplayer more. Some may only play multiplayer exclusively. Though I think most know, regardless of personal preference, that for the games overall reception and success it’s better if the campaign gets it’s share of the focus and hype
The few that don’t are objectively wrong and can be ignored. Otherwise it’s like you’re just building up an untrue narrative to take a stand against
I would argue MP and SP are both equally 50/50 important, if Halo released with just one of those modes and not the other it wouldn’t be a proper Halo game to me, however I would be cool with story expansions too.
