maybe…

SOME doubts about exclusivity of Bethesda… i dont think will be answered here.

Probably means the actual video is 1 hour, but I personally love watching this type of content even without expected big reveals or news.

Are any of those timed exclusives from Sonys own studios?

A roundtable eh? What are some examples in gaming of roundtables?

Exactly

Those wanting MS to “stick it” to Sony and declare ALL games from their newly acquired devs are going to be exclusive FOREVER, is hilarious.

tbh a roundtable in this context would probably just be a zoom call lol, so that’s like any other interview (maybe like the Major Nelson one with Pete, Todd and Phil).

I am praying that you are being sarcastic

I honestly don’t understand your point. Why would there be PR damage from exclusivity from Microsoft owned studios? And so what if they throw away years of PlayStation development?

Hmmm I see. Well it should be interesting! It would be so great if something Starfield, anything Starfield could be there but that’s way more likely for E3 and that even isn’t guaranteed yet.

Just pay attention to Phil’s shelf

Ms did a few for the other studios they acquired, likely it will be something very similar

imagine loggin into the stream and you just see a round table in the back. That’s it

If such point exist and they are interested in pursuing it why wait for Bethesda?

They literally could be doing it now, or even go full 3rd party when xbone fumbled, so why haven’t they and how bethesda changes that to the point it finally makes sense for them to do it?

As for anything regarding exclusivity there…

What if they use some language in there that makes people doubt what the real plans are. Something like “this wasn’t done to take games away from other platforms” etc. Don’t forget, after the Bethesda news last year Todd Howard did kinda lean towards this.

Most people said “Todd can say this, but at the end of the day Phil has the final say.”

But we’ll see what they are going to talk about, maybe it won’t be covered at all. It’s a subject more suitable for interviews probably.

Cant believe that there are xbox centric fans here that think its okay for Xbox to spend 7.5Billion in a publisher, invest in development, tech and salary and think its just fine to give games to the competitor that is blasting you in sales by like 3 to 1 who at every chances tries to lock games away from you.

Doomenstein? What would you cross between these? B.J. taking on the Demons and Doom Guy taking on the Nazi’s? Maybe with a time warp where the Nazi’s start the whole demon invasions? Or maybe a mash up where you can play either Doom or B.J. (assuming they’re distant relatives?) through a similar campaign with similar levels but different skillsets while using the “family” armor?

This could be fun!

What about going a step farther and making it part of a cross-over as mentioned in another thread here about a Microsoft Mashup using the huge variety of Xbox and Bethesda characters? Maybe a “story” won’t work well here but it could be a F2P battle royale game that could gain traction? (I’d personally lose interest in playing at that point - I don’t PvP - but I might catch a few streams to watch.)

Some people think that being “good guys” will pose no consequence to the platform.

I don’t think it will be covered, but what Phil said at that time was the the goal of the deal wasn’t to take games from other platforms, not that it wouldn’t happen.

Ms saw in Bethesda a way to boost their 1st party portfolio and Bethesda saw the stability and possibilities of having their games seeing bigger investments and that was the goal of the deal.

Of course, there could be a resistance from Bethesda to go exclusive, but given Ms explicitly saying they were investing in both their exclusive portfolio I don’t see they taking the deal for anything less than having the final say on that.
