Xbox at Tokyo Game Show 2022 | September 15

Yoooo we have Level 5 on board now? That is one I truly had given up on.

And today we get Ni No Kuni on Game Pass!!!

I didn’t realize NNK was available today

Very curious what’s going with Square Enix.

Was really happy with that show. Wasn’t expecting super megaton announcements (outside of hoping for FF7R LMAO Not In Your Lifetime Edition), but we got more ports and Game Pass announcements than I was expecting.

Definitely can see why some people would be disappointed, but anyone that knows me will know why I’m happy.

Especially because of you know who….

It certainly had a better pacing than E3

Came expected nothing, so can’t say im letdown, definitely better than last 2 years’ TGS.

Mostly focused on older games coming to Xbox/GP during this and next year, some decent surprises like Ni No Kuni, and the Hundred Heroes game, while it was already announced, it looks good, gets me interested on a JRPG after a very long time.

Situation for Xbox on Japan is looking better than with Xbox One, and it’ll keep getting better considering sales are being more than decent.

It’s still light years away from the X360 era, and i don’t think it’ll come close to that situation anytime soon, if it ever does.

I think Square basically is selling to the highest bidder on a game to game basis.

Fuck I woke up late

BUT GUILTY GEAR STRIVE AND BLAZBLUE CROSSTAG BATTLE?

Xbox has a surprisingly decent amount of fighters in Game Pass now and in the near future with Guilty Gear Strive and BlazeBlue: Crosstag Battle being added to the lineup.

How about that for a surprise?

I find it a bit funny how Sony doesn’t have one and if the rumor is true, Xbox will have one with KI2. I guess they relied heavily on third-party excluding Xbox but now, they should think plan B.

There were some games that are not coming to Game Pass such as Palworld(looks great) and a few others. But nothing like Where the Winds Meet or Wukong. I would not be surprised if neither of those come out next year.

That or best of maps from each one. Either way, can’t wait to celebrate. The game is so good. If going to Japan for next one, mouth watering.

Japanese developer releasing games without Game Pass incentive is great.
