I don’t know if they’ve said, but the Elder Scrolls Online presentation starts an hour after this one, and it would make sense to have them back-to-back to use DD as a lead-in and try to retain some of its audience. So my guess is an hour.
edit: Just checked last year’s, and then it was 44 minutes.
Indy is the one they said is getting 10 minutes. Avowed they said is getting a deep dive but they didn’t say how long it was but I’d assume it’s also 10+ mins.
So we know, Hellblade, Avowed, ARA & Indiana Jones.
The hope of a secret announcement (for either shadow drop or to be released soon) of Kiln, South of Midnight.
My question is do we know if any 3rd party/partner games will show up? They’ve got a good handful of third party games coming and stuff to GP I feel it needs it’s time to shine.
I think we will begin to see more developer directs this year and potentially more partner previews. Mostly because both showcases were well received and i think it benefits being something similar to a nintendo direct evety now and again.
I don’t see them doing many more developer directs because they have so many events to show things throughout the year, Q1 was basically the only place where there was a gap.
Exception for Game specific Directs like Starfield which I don’t expect to be very common.
These 4 games will be enough. And I really doubt we get a shadow drop/announcement because it will start a trend that we will expect a surprise at every developer direct.
Yeah, Q1 is for the Direct, then you have the summer showcase (june-july), Gamescom (august), Quakecon (august), TGS (september), Blizzcon (november) and TGA (december). There’s room just for a partner preview on the middle somewhere.
Or they could drop the presence at multiplatform shows like Sony and Nintendo, then they can do more directs/previews.
I don’t think a. Shadow drop but I think a 5th game like here is Klein or insert one of the other unknown smaller titles to start the marketing on that game
