yea? sony has spidermans and wolverine. multi million sellers. why wouldn’t xbox respond? unless they are weak. Xbox needs to grow and I think the smaller stuff like i mentioned would help, rather than activision.

I don’t think EA or Take Two are going to happen. If the ABK is already under a lot of scrutiny under the CMA I can’t imagine EA or Take Two would be much easier. And I’m sure most of the franchises would have to remain multiplatform.

They’d still be multi plat. Just also available on gp. it’s hillarious that sony bought gaikai and did nothing with it. future is streaming. xbox is always forward thinking. sony copies them left and right. it’s pathetic.

xbox needs to grow organically. I would stop the activision acquisition. focus on small devs/pubs … such as fromsoft, square, and take 2. Sony Is the best so it shouldn’t be hard to pass.

As long as MS gets Asobo and CDPR I’ll be fine. Now if Sony is to acquire Square Enix, then I can see MS being more likely to get Sega.

Probably been said a bunch here but Certain Affinity should be near the top of the list, might even argue MS should acquire them even as the ABK deal is pending as I doubt it would do anything to impact that. As it stands they’re apparently working on the Halo Infinite BR, support studio on Perfect Dark and have a rumored “Monster Hunter” like game with Xbox Game Studios. Imagine if the Halo Infinite BR ended up being the thing to finally give the game some legs and the studio behind it gets acquired by someone else.

I like Platinum as well, they seem eager to work with Xbox again. Would be interesting to see what they could do.

I wish that if CA is bought, atleast they will still have freedom to work on their own games like project suerte instead of just supporting others, thats why I prefer the idea of putting them as the new leader of halo meanwhile 343 becomes a support studio(but thats never gonna happen)

If Xbox is already willing to fund a project of their own, there is no reason to think they wouldn’t continue to allow them to.
