Yeah, amazon feels the most likely but I wouldn’t write off the other big techs, escpecially microsoft, but I think amazon is most likely to pick them up
they are realistically only going to acquire whats in their budget and ubisoft which I think will have a lot of other companies sniffing them out probably isn’t in it, escpecially with the debt they have (about $15.5 billion so to realistically get ubisoft they would need to take out debt)
True Amazon is a possibility if Microsoft doesn’t get them but I really would want what’s best for Ubisoft as a whole since it’s sad seeing how Ubisoft went from being a great company to how they are today.

I mean, most gaming companies look worse over time because more people are starting to realise these companies are being treated like business’s because thats what they are. They aren’t just passionate devs just in it to make a game for millions to enjoy. Like even companies who still have incredibly quality games like nintendo has their corprite slime in their like NSO or them updating their games to add in content which should of been in there since base like mario tennis aces which had multiple of these characters already in the code or them acting like joycon drift is just a figment of our imagination
To clarify this is 10 billion to spend on their entire companies growth and also includes investment into technology.
Playstation likely really only has maybe half of that to play with. They could always go very more sloshed but I don’t see anyone pointing that out.

I don’t think EA is that bad aside from Battlefield 2042 and having a ton of dormant ips but we will see after Dragon Age, the new Mass Effect, and Dead Space reboot.

EA, I would get rid of multiplayer from Mass Effect, all the monies go to the campaign, bring back an NCAA Basketball an NBA game, and get rid of Ultimate Team modes from those football and basketball games. Yes this is pure fantasyland.

Just a quick note on SNK: they’re apparently now owned by a pretty wretched Saudi prince who’s known for some heinous acts. Maybe nothing to them is best.
