About Japan, does anyone really understand how the regulation of sales to foreign companies works? I remember seeing a protection list with some game companies.
But I don’t know what may or may not be Sold.

depends on the size of the company, like Sony, Nintendo and Toyota. japan won’t allow foreign companies to get them or make it really really hard on them.
games publishers are fine.

You have people bragging not even long, just the start of this year and you could argue the start of this gen about how PS5 is selling 2:1 and every single month Sony selling 80% physical sales in the UK.
Now Xbox is a monopoly that everyone should worry about and make sure you call up the POTUS and FTC to get the deal cancelled, I’m shocked there hasn’t been a petition yet.

ABK It was a punch into the ponies faces. They could not believe in a world without PS as the First player. The good thing to be a PC Gamer: i’ll have all games from both companies. I done my choice many Years ago and i often listened the same refrain: PC gaming Is dead. Well, this meme Is not aged well.

Unfortunately this Is the sense of all discussions around web. I don’t like console wars and i don’t have any interest about them. Maybe this Is a privile point of view as a PC Gamer. I played many Years without games on PC because they were blocked on PS or Xbox and i never said "f…g consoles, you are killing the PC gaming. this Is the business and these are games, After all. Ponies and Xbots are the same faces. For me we are players, Nothing more.
I feel for Xbox if they acquire a Japanese publisher, they’ll have antitrust experts and japanese law experts on their trail, making this deal impossible…

Theyre making baby steps in Japan at the moment, building bridges after burning so many. Establishes ties and relevance in a region where they have none.
You dont go from this to taking out one of the biggest publishers.
