That’s not to say that MS doesn’t want SE Japan just because Sony moneyhatt SE Japan, it’s like saying that Tango and Arkane are irrelevant to Xbox because Sony moneyhat their games lol.

If MS got SE Japan they’d have to “honor” so many exclusivity contracts they won’t get something out of it untill like 2025 or maybe even beyond 
We’re talking hypothetical based on that video that was uploaded, but I think they’d need buy all of Hasbro to get Wizards of the coast. That can be a good thing though as Hasbro does own one of the most popular franchises that would bring in a completely new base, not that it’d excite people much here. They own My Little Pony.
Additionally they would bring in Transformers, Power Rangers, GI Joe, Magic The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. All of which have very dedicated bases that would probably attach to Xbox.
If you then look at expanding Xbox’s footprint in merchandise, there may not really be a better company to get to do that. Imagine the growth in merchandise they could do with Hasbro leveraging all Xbox’s franchises.
Aside from that, I believe there are currently 6 game studios that Hasbro owns and I can’t see regulators finding a way to prevent this multi billion dollar acquisition like they may with Take 2 or EA.

I think it won’t matter at this point, MS will get exclusive COD X and TESVI while we wait for the FFXVI and FFVII exclusivity contracts to expire. It’s not going to be the same as waiting for Deathloop and Ghostwire.
well if sony get them imagine they will greenlight Deus ex due the lack of WRPG

I don’t think Sony is a fan of filling genres. They will surely leave SE Europe as a Marvel factory with a little more polish.

Yes, this is what would happen with SE west. Sony would be able to put out a lot of Marvel games which is all they need to maintain the PS5 as a must have console. Funnily enough, licensed games do work.
I think Sony will go for SE for this reason maybe more than the Japanese games, which they get anyway.
