If Microsoft can get Ubisoft’s subscription included in gamepass like EA, that will be just as good as an acquisition to me.
When do we see GP taking a price bump?
I know many ppl will disagree but after this I think MS are done with big publisher acquisitions until the AB deal is complete. But either way Xbox now firmly has North America on LOCK and possibly all of western gaming.
And like someone said, don’t think MS wants to draw too much attention.
But they would continue to dig their own grave. I could very well see the exact same situation we have here, happening with Ubisoft.
Yves under fire, the stock tanking and suddenly the golden parachute doesn’t look too bad.
When they hit 50 million which seems to be the number they are aiming for initially.
With Take 2 you get Zynga, two birds one stone
They could double the price and i would still happily pay it. Still would be the best deal out there, bar none.
That’s funny, but also kind of sad because I’m holding some stock.
That’s pretty wild when Sony has not even done anything lol. It just shows that the news was a big event and is bound to shake the industry.
Sony are fucked.
Its fucking hilarious
Also here is the funny thing ppl. Cats were saying MS HAVE to make Bethesda games multiplat to “make their investments back.” Based off this acquisition… $7 billion is POCKET change for them. lol.
They got knocked out but they are not dead. They can regroup…
You should buy MS stocks, besides a dip throughout the month, it only ever seems to go up.
Not quite sure where you obtained your figures but Activision Blizzard’s market cap was approximately 51 billion (now 64 billion with the stock increase).
Take Two’s Market cap is currently around 18 billion not 5.
But I agree some of the others seem like bargains considering how much IP they have and how much they churn out. MS must have approached SEGA multiple times by now.
Haha I did try to find this one
I was googling net worth. Did a little reading on how that works so I’ll make a revised list with market cap.
It’s not even a knockout, it’s just a nice five punch combo that wins a round.
So let them, why are you paranoid? This thing works both ways. I fully expect Sony to do something similar.
They still make games but it’s all ultra casual Japan only stuff. They released “Momotaro” for Switch last year I think and it’s one of the highest selling 3rd party games on the platform over there. It’s not something anyone outside of Japan would care for though.
