Truly shocking, just like Zenimax was at the time.
I certainly never expected anybody to be going after such large companies and I’m in good company.
If I hear any of you jerks start begging for more companies after another 2 months because it’s been 60 days since the last major acquisition I swear to dog.
Are you referring to the long road before the deal closes? If so, while I don’t think there will be issues based on acquisitions we’ve seen and the state of the market, it is indeed a bit of a tail to this deal.
Holy shit…. No wonder it’s so cold where I’m at, we’ve got Hindle on the acquisitions hype train! Let’s fucking go, ain’t no one stoppin us!!!
Jez only heard that Microsoft wanted to make a big entry at mobile, since Activision is a publicy traded company, giving out the word before would be likely a crime of inside information and trading.
It might just be me, but I have always thought instead of a yearly release full COD game. It should be a gaas subscription platform. Have a constant multi-player with the best maps from every game. Update it slowly over time, but have the core MP like warzone. That way you can release campaign and campaign updates every year or every other year. Maybe with Gamepass they can do that. Either way I am glad I won’t have to pay $70 every other year to play COD now.
T2 would definitely be higher since they will acquire Zynga (T2 stock tanked after the news while Zynga was up bigly so hard to know their final valuation)
I think you would have to imagine some +50% Premium to the Market cap (Zynga was 67%, Glu Mobile around 33% I believe).
Pachinko a lucrative business, ha. On the real its probably combination of their non gaming stuff and their IPs being valuable. Still crazy their market cap is higher than Capcom, Sega, and Square
