I chuckled
Hell yeah this is what I’m here for
Think we’re just going to have to agree to disagree on what he means by casual here.
By the definition you’re using their targets are limited to only the biggest publishers in the industry, perhaps with the exception of Bungie.
I don’t think you get to “2 billion” by catering to the same console userbase you’re already engaged with. You get there by targeting families who want to stream 1 v 100, play Fall Guy’s, party games, etc.
Sega: pls buy us
Phil: nope, would make people from Xbox Acquisition |OT4| They Say These Things Take Time too happy
I cant wait for the wekend this thread going to be crazy wanting an acquisition announced monday…lol worst than e3. Maybe
at this point MS won’t announce Acquisition until thread is locked
Nah, I think it’ll be better than that, I wouldn’t expect anything like that Monday
Watch it be a studio who no one has guessed lol
Could it be Rockstar after all cause a bunch of Rockstar Game games are showing up in the Xbox Backwards compatibility marketplace hmmm
Like what
I doubt it is Take2. But casual Games does include nba2k.
2k sports in general. They could revive the other IP by growing that branch.
Max Payne, Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver
GTA Online is also consider casual now too and it huge.
Wait Max Payne is BC now? Are 2 and 3?
I think yall have the wrong idea about “casual” games. I believe its what @pg2g implies with fall guys and games that are easy to pickup and to stream lol.
Its certainly not warzone, red dead or gta or none of that.
Genshin Impact probably closer to what they after than any of those games
Its unlikely it will be publishers or studios who are making money.
Korean game devs make a lot of casual software if I recall
