Cool Butters that you liked it :+1: general concensus irrelevant of the metacritic was that the gameplay loop was awful (which falls on Turtle Rock) and that had nothing to do with the microtransactions which added another layer of bad to it.

My point being that I think its disingenuous to just blame lack of support on Turtle Rock spending a decade since L4D2 in putting out basically nothing.

Ps. Ill let people enjoy what they like just how I enjoy ME:A or TLOU2 for example👍.

Fully agree with you. Paradox would be a great addition. Adds alot to their portfolio in terms of turn based strategy. Plus they get harebrained schemes… which is made up of alot of fasa studio vets.

Unless Tencent or Embracer is coming there is no reason for MS to do that as Paradox won’t go anywhere aside PC anyway.

Sure but they seem to be losing money and struggling sometimes to complete games and they are a good partner already :+1: hence why I say realistic target and not something like Capcom, EA or Take Two.

Yeah it fits the MS purchase MO doesn’t it?

I’ve been saying this too, the whole cities skylines DLC route feels like game pass all over. They have so many games like it too, put the base game in game pass and do a bunch of dlc expansions almost like The Sims.

Just I like said before - as a defensive purchase they are fine. Struggling, other vultures want to devour it. It is fine.

Realistic or realistic can be only decided by history. Two years ago if somebody said that Bethesda will be bought, people would laugh in a face. It is less about realism but more about logic. EA is two expensive for what its worth (most of the money is coming for multiplatform licensed IPs), T2 is relatively expensive for basically two money makers (NBA and GTA), Capcom “they won’t sell” but it is a good option.

Everything except being a public company. Xbox normally buys private companies.

That they do but they check all the other boxes.

I mean Microsoft in general has bought a lot of public companies recently

I dont think being public or not is a hurdle for a trillion dollar company lol.

Only pointing out historical fact, tendencies for the Xbox division. Didn’t say that will continue. I know Microsoft purchases public companies in different sectors.

Xbox is Microsoft though

I know. Like I said, I only pointed out historical fact based on what’s happened within the Xbox division.

I mean, come on.

I think when xbox wasnt considered a priority, they basically were just after private. Now that Satya has gone public that Microsoft is all in on gamiing, and he now is head of the board,it wont matter as much if its public or not.
