Idk whats wrong with suggesting acquiring young up and coming talent rather than suggesting studios that are unrealistic or have no interest like Moon.

Well if Xbox would just make some official acquisition news we would not have to make the same talking points lol
That’s fair, honestly i thought that there was at least something at this point.
No offense to anyone here, but I’m highly skeptical anyone has any real info on who is and isn’t being acquired.
I don’t put stock in any of the rumors, beyond MS still actively exploring acquisitions.

Nope nothing official but a Take-Two Acquisition rumor did emerge wile you were gone all though i give that less than 5 percent chance of actually coming true lol
It would be really interesting if that happens, but i mean, there was already rumors around each company like twice, let’s hope that Microsoft announce something soon (that at this point the only thing left it’s the game awards, i don’t think they would announce an acquisition there unless it’s something big)
Regarding Neon Giant, I’d expect them to go to Embracer if anyone. They received funding from Amplifier Game Invest, which is a THQ Nordic subsidiary. It’s also a developer of a scale that Embracer is far known for acquiring. NG would be by far the smallest studio Microsoft had purchased, about 1/4 the size of Compulsion when it was bought.
I’m starting to get the feeling that if we don’t get anything tomorrow we won’t get anything for a long time.

On Sept 21 2020 which was a Monday. I checked 
Yeah, it was on Monday, I thought it was on Wednesday for some reason lol. Still, I don’t think that there will be any acquisitions news on Monday.
The Bethesda acquisition was announced one day before the opening of the Xbox Series X|S pre-orders, it was not on a random date. I don’t see why MS would announce another acquisition on a random Monday.
If there was a reason, it would be to take the spotlight off PlayStation after their event
