I’ll have to disagree. I think it still works well for modern times.
Lego games are literally perfect for gamepass as well
How do we leave the family friendly lego license behind when xbox gamepass lacks Family friendly E rated content?
Make a Toy Story platformer like those ones from the PS1. Done.
Or ask if they’d like some Banjo.
The same studios that Jez, Nick, Grubb, and others with track records claimed weeks ago… of which isn’t entirely accurate. Until there’s something presented that wasn’t done so previously by others with verified sources, I wouldn’t put much stock in this.
people are too eager to think IP should get “left behind”, this was the same issue with the whole Coalition thing, we kinda know now that nothing needs to be left behind, simply grow out and do other stuff alongside the stuff you were already doing, and MS has the money to allow that.
TT Games have 4 or 5 teams, so they can work on different games at the same time.
yall are dreaming
def people getting their hopes up lol
these hopes are at the lower end of the spectrum. You have not seen the other end of the spectrum with super high hopes, yet. ![]()
High hopes would be Xbox is going to acquire Take Two and Sega lol.
Honestly, if it is true that NRS and TT are up for grabs, and it appears that is the case, that is essentially a cant miss for MS. Get that wallet out.
Would love to see both these teams at Xbox.
I would be curious if Gears, Halo, etc might have problems becoming LEGO games due to previous (or current) IP licensing with Megablocks through the actual toys.
Usually I wouldn’t think that’d be an issue, but they are direct competitors and I’m not sure what those contracts look like.
Would be funny if they could make LEGO games, but not actual LEGO sets in tandem.![]()
Why you gotta call me out like that?![]()

Team SEGA ACCCCCTIIIIIIIVAAAATE!
I would be fine with TT moving away from Lego stuff and move into making their own stuff or reviving some other family friendly stuff cough Banjo cough. Clearly they have the dev chops to make anything.
MS could acquire NRS, TT and Sega and be finished with acquisitions for the foreseeable future and I would bee 100% OK with that. It would fill all of their holes in the current market.
Completely agree.
I feel like some of the other third party stuff (Capcom, Square, etc) Xbox just needs to play the same game as sony. Grease some palms. Make some magic happen.
If they got Sega that would be chef’s kiss for me.
Cant wait for Banjo to come back so I dont gotta read about it anymore and people realize its not that great and its just nostalgia fueling this.
Id rather xbox make something new.
Those would be insane for them those acquisitions would give them multiple family friendly studios, multiple fighting studios, jrpg studio, open world sandbox studio, multiple RTS studios and a party game studio.
How anyone could pick a system other than Xbox if that happened I simply don’t know.
Its almost like different people like and derive enjoyment from different things. Who knew?!
If the numbers are true and TT is nearly ~500 employee studio, that means the team is not for sale to any publisher, the publisher should be able to pay employees salary and is very very interested in Platform genre or let’s say E-Rated games
I exclude:
Sony, EA, Take-Two, Tencent, Nordic Games
And that’s left:
Activision Vs Microsoft
